Bonnie and Joi D. contacted LRE Foundation Repair due to concerns regarding tripping hazards on their driveway. A nearby tree had been removed, but its roots had already caused significant damage, resulting in large cracks and sinking sections that left the driveway uneven. After conducting an inspection, LRE designed a solution that used its fix-and-protect system of PolyLevel and NexusPro. While some of the worst sections of concrete were removed and replaced, the remainder of the driveway was treated with an injectable, expanding foam material that was placed directly under the concrete slab. PolyLevel not only expands to lift the areas of the driveway where needed, but also solidifies and compacts the soils, ensuring that the area is permanently stabilized. To complete the project, LRE used NexusPro, a silicone-based crack sealer that smoothed out the cracks, while protecting the driveway surface for years to come. Bonnie and Joi D. were thrilled with the result, not only because of the improved appearance of their driveway but also because they knew that it had been permanently stabilized and was now safe.
