In Largo, Florida, Dave grew concerned after noticing large cracks forming in the concrete staircase leading to his front door. He also observed the steps beginning to separate, creating noticeable gaps. Wanting to prevent the damage from worsening, Dave reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair to schedule a free inspection.
We sent one of our expert Design Specialists to assess the situation, and upon inspection, it was confirmed that the soil beneath the staircase had become unstable, causing the structure to settle. To address the issue, we developed a repair plan using our helical pier system to lift and permanently stabilize the staircase foundation.
With Dave’s approval, our team went to work installing each pier deep into load-bearing soil. Once in place, the staircase was carefully lifted, the cracks closed, and the structure fully stabilized. Dave can now rest easy knowing his front steps are safe, secure, and permanently supported.
Deborah in St. Petersburg, FL, recently had a tree removed near her home, which caused a corner of her foundation to settle significantly. The voids left beneath the foundation after the tree’s removal led to the exterior stem wall breaking away, requiring immediate attention. Deborah contacted LRE Foundation Repair for help, and we sent one of our local expert Design Specialists to conduct a complimentary full home inspection.
After assessing the damage, our specialist developed a plan to lift and permanently stabilize the affected corner of the foundation using our helical pier system. Deborah reviewed and approved the plan, and our team began the repair and stabilization process. Each pier was installed deep into the ground until reaching stable, load-bearing soil and then securely bracketed to the foundation’s footer. The weight of the foundation was transferred to these stable soil layers, allowing our team to lift the settled portion of the foundation back into place.
As a result, the cracks were effectively closed, and Deborah can now rest assured knowing her foundation is permanently repaired and protected against future settlement.
In St. Petersburg, Florida, Caprish noticed growing settlement damage in her garage, including large stair-step cracks forming in the walls. Concerned the issue would worsen, she reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for a permanent solution.
Our expert Design Specialist conducted a thorough inspection and found that the soil beneath the side of the garage had settled, causing the foundation to sink. To correct the issue, we proposed installing our helical pier system to lift and stabilize the affected section of the foundation.
With Caprish’s approval, our team installed the piers deep into the ground until they reached strong, load-bearing soil. Once securely bracketed to the foundation's footer, the weight of the garage was transferred to these stable layers, allowing us to lift the foundation and close the cracks.
Caprish was thrilled to see the damage reversed and now has peace of mind knowing her garage is permanently stabilized and protected from future settlement.
Paul from Palmetto, FL, contacted LRE Foundation Repair after large stair-step cracks appeared in the exterior walls of a corner of a family member’s home. During a complimentary full-home inspection, our Design Specialist discovered soil settlement beneath the corner had caused the foundation to sink.
To stabilize the home, our team installed helical piers deep into the ground until they reached stable, load-bearing soil and securely bracketed them to the foundation’s footer. The foundation was then carefully lifted back into place, closing the crack and permanently stabilizing the structure.
Paul was very pleased with the results and can now rest assured that this section of the home’s foundation is fully secure and protected against future settlement.
