A homeowner located in Daytona Beach recently inherited this home and noticed interior and exterior cracks throughout the home. The Homeowner's goal was to repair the foundation so they can keep it in the family, or sell the home later down the line. LRE installed 7 Helical piers around the perimeter of the home and injected 6 points of chemical grout to permanently stabilize the foundation of this home for years to come.
This Oviedo, Florida homeowner called our team at LRE Foundation Repair when he noticed the holes under his pool deck were growing in size. Our team inspected the property and determined that a faulty drainage system caused the majority of the erosion, leaving an unstable foundation. Our crews got to work injecting PolyLevel to the affected areas of the home. PolyLevel - an expanding polymer foam material, was injected at various points in the pool deck and surrounding areas to fill large voids and solidify loose, shifting soils. The project was completed quickly and once finished, the site was cleaned up and the pool deck was permanently stabilized.
Michelle and Rodney B. were worried about the sudden cracks in the foundation wall of their Estero, Florida home. They decided to contact LRE Foundation Repair to get it fixed and ease their minds. After inspecting the property, LRE determined that the movement was caused by loose, shifting soils and recommended using helical piers to stabilize and repair the foundation. Helical piers are galvanized steel posts that are drilled into the ground around the problematic areas of the home and attached to the home's footer using a galvanized steel bracket. Eventually, the home rests on these piers and can even be lifted back to level. All work is buried underground or covered with concrete, becoming a permanent part of the home. The homeowners were delighted with the repaired foundation cracks and the newfound stability of their home, which gave them the peace of mind they were seeking.
Ashley M. inherited her Lake Placid, Florida home when her grandfather passed away and it needed quite a bit of work. She was informed the roof needed repairs, but before that could start, the more pressing issue was the foundation. Cracks were apparent in the brick walls, and upon inspection, LRE determined a corner of the property had experienced erosion and settlement, which needed to be lifted and stabilized. The homeowner didn't hesitate to move forward with the project, which consisted of the installation of galvanized steel helical piers. These piers were advanced into the soils around the home until the proper pressure and compaction were achieved. Once this happened, the piers were attached to the home's footer, and a lift was able to occur, releveling the sunken foundation. After the project was completed, this homeowner was amazed to see the cracks closed and happy to know her family home was stabilized for years to come.
Brenten H. experienced a large amount of damage to his Bonita Springs, Florida, home when a recent storm hit. He called LRE because he was concerned about the large cracks on the side of his house as well as the sinking foundation. After the initial inspection, LRE Foundation Repair was able to determine the main cause of damage from this storm: loose soils and erosion that led to large voids under the house. LRE's plan of action included the installation of helical piers around the exterior that were driven into the soil and attached to the foundation. These galvanized steel piers not only added to the stability of the structure but also assisted in closing the cracks and carefully lifting the side of the home. Next, LRE used PolyLevel, a two-part expanding foam material, to fill the voids underneath the home, further increasing stability. Once the project was complete, this homeowner was ecstatic to not have to worry about future damage or settlement to his property.
