Charles’s concrete walkway leading up to his front door in Daytona Beach, Florida, had developed a significant tripping hazard, which needed to be addressed to prevent potential injuries. Concerned, he reached out to LRE Foundation Repair, and our Customer Care team promptly scheduled a free inspection with one of our Design Specialists. After a thorough examination, our specialist determined that soil erosion had caused the concrete slabs to settle and become uneven.
To solve the problem, our Design Specialist developed a detailed plan to level the walkway and eliminate the tripping hazards by utilizing our Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, our team injected PolyLevel beneath the concrete to lift, level, and stabilize the slabs. For added protection, we sealed the joints between the slabs with NexusPro to prevent water from penetrating beneath the concrete and eroding the soil further.
Once the work was completed, Charles’s concrete walkway was fully leveled and stabilized, and the tripping hazard was permanently eliminated.
