Barry M. of Naples, Florida contacted called LRE Foundation Repair after growing concerned about major trip hazards around his pool deck due to uneven and sinking concrete. LRE’s inspection found that poorly compacted soil and washout underneath the pool deck was causing the concrete slabs to crack and settle. LRE was able to remediate Barry’s concerns by utilizing their 2-part concrete protection system. This involves injecting a 2-part polyurethane foam underneath the slab to relevel and stabilize the concrete and then sealing off the cracks with NexusPro which is a silicone-based sealant to provide long-lasting flexibility. Barry can now get back to enjoying his pool area knowing his pool deck is permanently stabilized for years to come, and those dangerous trip hazards have been eliminated.
Barry's pool deck at his home in Naples, Florida, had suffered extensive damage, with one of the slabs cracking and sinking into the ground, creating a serious tripping hazard. After calling us at LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, we sent one of our Design Specialists to carefully inspect the pool deck and help offer a solution. Upon close examination, our specialist determined that erosion of the underlying soil had caused the pool deck to become unstable and settle. For a comprehensive repair solution, our team implemented our Two-Part Concrete Repair Solution. First, PolyLevel was injected directly beneath the concrete pool deck to lift the sunken slab back to its proper level and eliminating the trip hazard. Next, the cracks were sealed with NexusPro, preventing water intrusion and enhancing the overall appearance of the pool deck. Barry’s concrete pool deck has been fully restored to a proper, even level, with the tripping hazard eliminated and the deck safeguarded against future settlement damage.
Megan F. from Rockledge, Florida had been facing a persistent problem of water pooling around her pool deck, resulting in slippery mildew conditions. In order to solve this problem for good, she sought the help of LRE Foundation Repair. LRE conducted a whole-home inspection and found that the previous channel drain and poor construction was not enough to handle the amount of water that ended up on the deck. To tackle this issue, LRE designed a drainage solution that included a new channel drain that would connect to a catch basin located far out in the property. This new system would allow a sufficient amount of water to flow through the new drain and out into the yard. Once the project was completed, the homeowner was thrilled to see that the pooling water and mildew conditions were eliminated.

The concrete pad was successfully lifted and leveled, and Mark was delighted to see the trip hazard permanently eliminated.
