Foundation Repair Photo Album: Pool Deck Foundation Stabilized in New Port Richey, FL
Brad from New Port Richey, FL, noticed cracks forming in the stem wall along the perimeter of his pool deck foundation and contacted LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. Having previously stabilized the pool deck slabs, he wanted to ensure the foundation was permanently secure.
After a thorough inspection, our Design Specialist recommended installing helical piers around the perimeter to transfer the structure’s weight to deep, stable soil layers and prevent further settlement. Once Brad approved the plan, our team installed the piers and securely bracketed them to the foundation’s footer, permanently stabilizing the pool deck.
Brad can now feel confident knowing his pool deck foundation is secure and protected against future settlement.
Exterior Stem Wall Cracks
Cracks along the stem wall of the home's pool deck indicated that the foundation had shifted and settled.
Installing Helical Piers
The LRE team begins driving each helical pier deep into the ground until stable, load-bearing soil layers are reached.
Stabilizing Foundation with Helical Piers
Once the piers have reached the appropriate depths, they are then bracketed to the foundation's footer, and the weight of the structure is transferred to the stable soil layers.
Complete Helical Pier Installation
The helical piers are now fully installed, and the foundation is permanently stabilized. The LRE team will now backfill the previously removed soil and conceal the helical piers.
