Closing Foundation Wall Cracks in Miami Springs, FL

In Miami Springs, FL, Joel’s home had experienced severe foundation settlement, with large cracks developing in various areas of the home’s walls. After having LRE conduct a thorough, full-home inspection, our Design Specialist discovered settlement throughout the entire exterior foundation, along with issues with the support system in the crawl space beneath the house.

A comprehensive plan was created to fully repair and permanently stabilize the foundation using a combination of our push pier and SmartJack systems. Once Joel reviewed and approved the plan, our team began the extensive repairs, first installing each push pier along the exterior of the home’s foundation and driving them deep into the ground until solid bedrock was reached. From there, the piers were bracketed to the foundation’s footer, and our team leveraged the weight of the home against the solid bedrock below the surface, carefully lifting the foundation back into place and closing the wall cracks.

The SmartJack system was then installed in the home’s crawl space to bring the interior floors back to a stable, level position. With the repairs complete, the foundation of Joel’s home now has the support it needs to remain permanently stable, giving him lasting peace of mind.
