I have an older home in an historic area in Tampa that had sagging floors and needed a fair amount of foundation repair work. Needless to say, I wanted it done properly, so, I decided to get 5 companies in to quote. After receiving all the quotes and planned proposals for repairing the foundations, there was no doubt in my mind that LRE Foundation Repair was by far the best company for me to go with, for several reasons. Before they came out to access and quote, LRE mailed me an 81 page booklet on foundation problems and repairs – published by an independent company - Foundation Supportworks. This gave me a good understanding of different foundation problems and why they happen, including sagging floors - and the best way to go about fixing them. There was also great information on various jacks and piers and when to use what etc. which was invaluable to me when looking at what the other companies had proposed. The Design Specialist LRE sent out to access the situation and to give a proposed plan and quote was someone who had years of experience doing the actual work. This guy was Zac Spardello. His professionalism and customer service goes beyond the expected. He took photos, liasoned with their engineering dept before he came up with a definite planned proposal and quote. Zac took time explaining to me what was wrong and had images of everything including problem areas, and how and why they proposed fixing it in certain ways, along with the with the information I had gained from the booklet. When I compared his proposed plan to the others, it was clear that he really knew what he was talking about. Other companies had in some cases sent out Estimators who clearly had never done the actual work and it showed as they had given very generalized solutions, when I compared plans. LRE was the only co who had a combination of replacing areas of old wood plus adding additional wood as well as jacks and metal beams, along with repairing/ replacing 4 brick block columns, and redoing the subfloor in certain areas. Some companies proposed only adding wood, others only metal, and this combination of materials that LRE proposed seemed to cover all basis. Permits. LRE was ready to go with permits within about a month, and they gave me a definite starting date within days. I was told by most other companies I’d have to wait at least 6 weeks to get the permits, and one company said they didn’t need it as their solution only required jacks. Which is probably fine in some instances but in this case where I knew a fair amount of work was needed, I felt better about having permits. With LRE, everything was done to code and with engineering reports. LRE also offers a 25-year guarantee which is transferable to the new owner if the house is ever sold. They also offered a 5% discount if I signed with a certain time frame. They were not the cheapest nor were they the most expensive, all adding up to why I chose them. In conclusion, the work was done on time and the results were even better than I expected. I was not in Tampa during this time, I was kept in the loop with updates by phone and photos. A big thank you to Zac for all his help and support, as well as Tavian the foreman, and his team who did all the work. An added bonus is that a few weeks later I got a call from a co that was going to spray the soil under the house which would take care of any termites as the soil had been disrupted with the foundation work, which was all paid for by LRE as part of their repair package.

Drainage issues have always been a problem at our house for a few years now due to new construction altering the dispersion of water on our block. After attempting several solutions, including a standard french drain, we finally looked for a drainage solution we could rely on to handle the amount of water we get in Central Florida. From the first visit, I could tell these folks know their craft. They designed a custom solution, and within a few weeks we had a crew out to install new underground drains, a buried pump and EZ-Flow system. The crew was friendly, very professional, and efficient. Despite a lot of digging and stone hauling, Antonio and his crew barely left a trace -- even carefully replacing the sod. Antonio also took time to demo the drainage system with a garden hose for me and I'm almost looking forward to a torrential down pour to see this system in action. I can't recommend this service enough! We also decided to have LRE encapsulate our crawlspace and add a dehumidifier to it. Michael and that crew spent a few days in that crawlspace taking care to get it cleaned out and then sealed off with a dehumidifier. They were also very professional and friendly and as someone with a bit of claustrophobia, the fact they always had a smile on their faces when speaking with me was extra impressive! The house is already less damp feeling on cool days.

I really enjoyed working with LRE! From the first consultation, all through the job clean up, they team was very professional and took pride in their work. Jordan, Max, Gabe, Rashad, Cordell, and Shane are the nicest, hardest working, polite, professional young men we have ever met. It is a tough and dirty job and these guys worked as an incredible team and did a superb job. The crawlspace is now clean, our home is protected, and we could not be happier with the work that was performed. We reached out to LRE Foundation Repair because our floors in the house bounced when you walked on them. Tyler the LRE design specialist came to our home to discuss our issues and toured the rooms, made some observations, and went under the house. He was patient, engaging, and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and introducing us to the tools that are used in a project like ours. He educated us on the use of SmartJacks, block piers, and base footings and sent us a project summary that described the who process and warranty information, as well as diagram with the goal of installing the SmartJack support system to stabilize our floors.   We were pleased with the appearance of the LRE crew who arrived on site to do the work. Mike, Chris, and Chris were approachable, knowledgeable, and professional. Mike explained the process and answered every question we had. Your crew, which had Carlos as the crew leader, along with Fed and Jalen, were knowledgeable, prompt, professional, and courteous throughout the whole job process. Carlos texted and/or called me every morning to let me know that they were on the way to my house. Every day upon arrival, they went straight to work and worked diligently all day. Carlos quickly answered all of my questions and he took the time to explain the things I did not understand. Everything was cleaned up to my satisfaction and then some. Fed was just the best communicator. We went through everything in detail and I have to say without hesitation, LRE more than met my expectations. I had met Donovan here on the last day and I complimented Fed and his crew for the extraordinary job they did. Just like the pillars they install, these men are the foundation of our community. From the beginning Zac fully explained our options for securing the foundation of our historic home and protecting the wood from further moisture damage. He carefully worked with our budget to make the best choices for longevity of the home while listening to our unique needs. Each step was customized and meticulously executed by members of the LRE team. Carlos, Merrick, and Charles were the crew that came out to do the install. They took their time and made sure it was perfect. They treated us and our home like part of the family. Carlos would text me pictures of things that didn’t even have to do with the job, like a very small leak in our tub drain. Jordan, Gabe, Kent, Max and the team was under our 100 year-old-house repairing and replacing the foundation and leveling for the last two days. Some of the old stone piers were replaced and additional shoring up was done. Periodic maintenance will most like be required, and with their excellent care we will be glad to call on them again.
