John’s home in Wesley Chapel, FL, flooded during both Hurricanes Helene and Milton in October 2024, resulting in extensive damage that included significant foundation settlement. Large stair-step cracks formed in the exterior walls—a common sign of foundation instability. In search of a reliable repair solution, John contacted LRE Foundation Repair, and our team sent one of our expert Design Specialists to conduct a full home inspection.
During the inspection, our specialist discovered that the underlying soil beneath the back corner of the home had severely eroded, causing the foundation to settle. A repair plan was developed to permanently stabilize the foundation and lift it back to its proper position using our helical pier system. After reviewing the plan, John approved the repairs, and our team got to work.
Using specialized equipment, our crew installed each helical pier deep beneath the foundation until reaching strong, load-bearing soil layers. The piers were then bracketed to the foundation’s footer, transferring the weight of the home to the stable soil below. Once secured, the foundation was carefully lifted, which helped close the exterior wall cracks.
John’s home is now permanently stabilized and secure, providing him with lasting relief and peace of mind.
Sherrie from Ridge Manor, Florida, began noticing large cracks forming in the exterior walls of her home, along with water intrusion inside. Concerned about the severity of the damage, she reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for a professional inspection.
Our expert Design Specialist carefully assessed the home and discovered that rainwater had been pooling around the foundation, eroding the soil beneath and causing the home to settle. To address the problem, we designed a comprehensive repair plan that included installing a new exterior drainage system along with our helical pier system to permanently stabilize and lift the foundation.
With Sherrie’s approval, our team installed each helical pier deep into the ground until stable, load-bearing soils were reached. The piers were then securely bracketed to the foundation’s footer, transferring the home’s weight to the solid soil below. From there, we carefully lifted the foundation back into its proper position, effectively closing the wall cracks.
Now Sherrie can enjoy lasting peace of mind now that her home’s foundation is properly secured and permanently stabilized.
In The Villages, FL, Costi’s driveway had become severely uneven due to settling soil, creating significant tripping hazards. Concerned, he called LRE Foundation Repair to schedule a free inspection. Our expert Design Specialist assessed the driveway and recommended our Two-Part Concrete Protection System to fully level and permanently stabilize the concrete.
With Costi’s approval, our team injected PolyLevel beneath the slabs to lift and level them while stabilizing the soil. We then sealed the joints with NexusPro to prevent water infiltration and future erosion. Upon completion, Costi’s driveway was fully restored, the trip hazards eliminated, and the slabs permanently stabilized.
Paul from Palmetto, FL, contacted LRE Foundation Repair after large stair-step cracks appeared in the exterior walls of a corner of a family member’s home. During a complimentary full-home inspection, our Design Specialist discovered soil settlement beneath the corner had caused the foundation to sink.
To stabilize the home, our team installed helical piers deep into the ground until they reached stable, load-bearing soil and securely bracketed them to the foundation’s footer. The foundation was then carefully lifted back into place, closing the crack and permanently stabilizing the structure.
Paul was very pleased with the results and can now rest assured that this section of the home’s foundation is fully secure and protected against future settlement.
Kathy from Seffner, FL, was in the process of repairing areas of her newly inherited home when she became concerned about the condition of the crawl space. She had noticed sections of the interior flooring felt unstable, and it was also recommended that the crawl space be encapsulated to help protect against moisture-related issues. Wanting a reliable, long-term solution, Kathy contacted LRE Foundation Repair and scheduled a complimentary inspection with one of our expert Design Specialists.
Following a thorough inspection of the crawl space, our specialist identified areas where the floor system required additional structural support. A comprehensive plan was developed to permanently reinforce the floor joists using our SmartJack system. To further protect the home, we also recommended installing the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System to fully seal the crawl space and help prevent moisture intrusion.
Once Kathy approved the plan, our team got to work by first clearing debris from the crawl space and preparing the area for encapsulation. We then installed the CleanSpace moisture barrier to create a sealed environment, followed by strategically placing the SmartJack system to stabilize and strengthen the floor structure above.
Now, Kathy’s newly inherited home has a crawl space that is properly supported and protected from moisture, helping ensure the floors feel stable and the home remains structurally sound for years to come.
