Concrete Sidewalk Trip Hazard Repair in Tampa, Florida

In Tampa, Florida, the owners of an orthopedic hospital reached out to LRE Foundation Repair to inspect a problematic tripping hazard that had formed in one of their concrete sidewalks. Upon closer examination by our Design Specialist, it was discovered that two adjacent slabs had shifted, becoming unlevel with each other and creating the tripping hazard. Our production team stepped in and utilized our Two-Part Concrete Protection System to fully level and stabilize the sidewalk. First, PolyLevel was injected directly beneath the concrete to lift and level the slabs. Next, the joint between the slabs was filled with NexusPro to prevent water intrusion and protect against soil erosion beneath the concrete. The hospital's concrete sidewalk is now fully leveled and stabilized, eliminating the tripping hazard and ensuring a safer environment for both employees and patients.

Stabilizing Historic Home's Crawl Space in Interlachen, Florida

Elizabeth R. in Interlachen, Florida, requested LRE Foundation Repair to inspect her recently purchased historic home, experiencing sloping and instability in the floors. An LRE Design Specialist performed a full inspection of the home's crawl space and identified deterioration in the floor joists and piers brought on by age and soil settlement. The LRE team installed a series of SmartJacks in the crawl space, effectively lifting and stabilizing the floors above. With the foundation now permanently stabilized, Elizabeth and her family can enjoy living safely in their newly restored historic home.

Driveway Void Filled and Stabilized in San Antonio, FL

Ken planned to move into his new home in San Antonio, FL, but needed to address the severe damage that had previously developed in the concrete driveway. Armadillos had burrowed their way underneath the driveway, creating large voids in the soil and causing portions of the concrete to sink. Fully aware that the driveway was not safe to drive on, Ken reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. The LRE team utilized our PolyLevel Solution to not only bring the concrete slabs back to an even, safe level but also fill the void underneath and permanently stabilize the driveway. Ken was thrilled with the assistance provided by LRE and can now feel safe using the driveway of his new home.

Concrete Driveway Repair in San Antonio, Florida

At his home in San Antonio, Florida, Dominic’s concrete driveway had developed widespread cracking, uneven slabs caused by soil settlement, and surface discoloration from years of wear. Seeking a permanent solution, he contacted LRE Foundation Repair to schedule a free inspection.

Following a detailed assessment, our Design Specialist determined that soil settlement was the primary cause of the damage and recommended implementing LRE’s 3-Part Concrete Protection System to restore both the stability and appearance of the driveway.

The repair process began with the injection of PolyLevel beneath the slabs to lift, level, and permanently stabilize the concrete. Next, the cracks and joints were sealed using NexusPro, preventing water from penetrating beneath the surface. Finally, DecoShield Concrete Sealer was applied to the driveway’s surface, protecting it against chipping, flaking, and staining while providing a uniform gray translucent finish to enhance curb appeal.

Upon completion, Dominic was highly satisfied with the results. His driveway was restored to a safe, even surface and is now protected with long-lasting stabilization and surface protection.

Concrete Sidewalk Leveling in San Antonio, Florida

In San Antonio, Florida, a property manager asked LRE Foundation Repair to inspect the concrete sidewalks on their commercial property after many of the slabs had become uneven, creating significant tripping hazards. After our Design Specialist inspected the sidewalk, we determined that soil erosion was the root cause of the problem and developed a plan to use our PolyLevel solution to fully lift and level the settling slabs. For additional protection, we also recommended sealing the joints between the slabs with NexusPro to prevent water from intruding beneath the sidewalk and causing further soil erosion.

The property manager approved the plan, and our team began implementing the repairs. In a short amount of time, the sidewalk slabs were restored to their proper level, eliminating the trip hazards and providing permanent stabilization for the concrete.
