Kristi from Tampa, Florida, sought an effective drainage solution to divert water away from her back patio after experiencing heavy flooding in the area. She asked LRE Foundation Repair for assistance and we sent one of our expert Design Specialists out to her home to help create a plan for a new drainage system. After carefully surveying the back patio behind Kristi’s home, our specialist recommended installing a new, robust channel drain within the patio’s concrete. The water collected by the channel drain would then be diverted out to a relief drain away from the home through an underground drainage pipe. With Kristi's approval, our team carefully removed the necessary section of concrete, installed the new channel drain, and poured fresh concrete around it, ensuring a smooth and even surface. Now, Kristi's back patio has an effective drainage solution in place to prevent flooding, ensuring the protection of both her concrete and the foundation of her home.
Christopher, a homeowner in Tampa, Florida, reached out to LRE Foundation Repair after noticing that the crawl space beneath his home had been severely affected by high levels of humidity and trapped moisture. Having already had structural repairs done previously, he was interested in protecting the crawl space from any further damage. Following a thorough inspection by our expert Design Specialists, we recommended installing the CleanSpace™ Crawl Space Encapsulation System to provide year-round protection. With Christopher’s approval, our team began implementing this system by sealing the entire crawl space with a moistureproof vapor barrier. A specialized dehumidifier was also included with the system to help keep the air clean and dry. Upon completion, Christopher was thrilled to see his crawl space fully sealed and protected against moisture damage from Florida's frequent rainstorms.
Matthew from Tampa, Florida, began to worry when he noticed sections of his home's floors had sunk, leaving large gaps between the flooring and the adjacent walls. Concerned about potential structural issues, he reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair. We promptly scheduled a crawl space inspection with one of our expert Design Specialists.
Upon entering the crawl space, our specialist found that several areas beneath the floor joists lacked proper support, either because no supports were in place or because the existing block piers had settled. To resolve the issue, we developed a comprehensive plan to install our SmartJack system to lift and permanently stabilize the floor joists.
With Matthew’s approval, our team installed each SmartJack in the crawl space, successfully elevating the joists and closing the visible gaps inside the home. With the project complete, Matthew can now enjoy peace of mind knowing his floors are secure and supported by a reliable, permanent solution.
In Tampa, FL, Tony needed to level a section of his home’s concrete walkway after the slabs had settled, creating a serious tripping hazard. After scheduling a free inspection with LRE Foundation Repair, our expert Design Specialist determined that soil settlement beneath the walkway was the cause of the problem.
To fix it, our team used PolyLevel, a two-part polyurethane foam that expands beneath the surface to lift, level, and stabilize concrete. Within minutes, the slabs were restored to their proper, even level — completely eliminating the trip hazard.
Now, Tony’s walkway is safe, level, and permanently stabilized, giving him and others lasting peace of mind.
Richard and Patricia owned this home in Temple Terrace, Florida for many years. The back room addition of this home started settling and large cracks were forming inside on the walls and ceiling. With growing concern, they called LRE Foundation Repair for the solution. After an inspection determined loose soils were causing too much movement to the home, LRE engineered a solution by installing helical piers and injecting PolyLevel to a section of the home. Helical piers are drilled into the soil around the exterior walls using small equipment to eliminate disruption to the landscaping of the home. These piers were also able to achieve the desired lift this home needed. In addition, PolyLevel, an expandable two-part foam, was injected at the site to solidify and stabilize the soils underneath. Once completed, these homeowners were thrilled to see the cracks closed and the home stabilized for years to come.
