A homeowner in Tampa, Florida was experiencing a number of foundation issues due to the conditions underneath their home. This homeowner contacted LRE after noticing the floors inside their home had begun to sag. One of LRE’s specially trained Design Specialists visited the home to complete an inspection. The findings showed evidence of water intrusion in the crawlspace, rotten wood, and failing beams causing sagging floors in the home. LRE’s trained technicians were able to access the affected area and remediate the problems by installing a number of products. First, LRE installed their specially patented SmartJack system to support and stabilize the floor joists, as well as lift and re-level the floors. LRE also replaced the rotted girder beams and finished off the project by installing their CleanSpace Encapsulation system to control moisture, airflow, and keep out pests and insects as well as ground contamination. Once the project was complete, the homeowner was ecstatic with their new crawlspace area. LRE was able to alleviate the homeowner's concerns by remedying the sagging floors and eliminating future damage to the home.
Mark had recently purchased his new home in Tampa, Florida when he noticed that certain areas of the floors felt unstable. He reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair, and we quickly scheduled a free inspection of the crawl space below his home with one of our Design Specialists. Upon examining the crawl space, the specialist found that the wooden floor joists lacked adequate support, causing them to sag slightly and creating instability in the floors above. As a permanent solution, our team installed the SmartJack system to provide robust support and lift the floor joists back to a level position. Following the installation, Mark was thrilled with the outcome, as his floors were now fully supported and stabilized.
Mr. Snabes contacted LRE after newly purchasing this home in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Snabes was concerned about the unlevel concrete around the home. LRE used their two-part rapid expanding polymer foam (PolyLevel) to permanently stabilize the soil underneath the slab while simultaneously lifting and leveling the slab back to its original height. Mr. Snabes no longer has to worry about unlevel concrete around his home.
Kristi from Tampa, Florida, sought an effective drainage solution to divert water away from her back patio after experiencing heavy flooding in the area. She asked LRE Foundation Repair for assistance and we sent one of our expert Design Specialists out to her home to help create a plan for a new drainage system. After carefully surveying the back patio behind Kristi’s home, our specialist recommended installing a new, robust channel drain within the patio’s concrete. The water collected by the channel drain would then be diverted out to a relief drain away from the home through an underground drainage pipe. With Kristi's approval, our team carefully removed the necessary section of concrete, installed the new channel drain, and poured fresh concrete around it, ensuring a smooth and even surface. Now, Kristi's back patio has an effective drainage solution in place to prevent flooding, ensuring the protection of both her concrete and the foundation of her home.
Christopher, a homeowner in Tampa, Florida, reached out to LRE Foundation Repair after noticing that the crawl space beneath his home had been severely affected by high levels of humidity and trapped moisture. Having already had structural repairs done previously, he was interested in protecting the crawl space from any further damage. Following a thorough inspection by our expert Design Specialists, we recommended installing the CleanSpace™ Crawl Space Encapsulation System to provide year-round protection. With Christopher’s approval, our team began implementing this system by sealing the entire crawl space with a moistureproof vapor barrier. A specialized dehumidifier was also included with the system to help keep the air clean and dry. Upon completion, Christopher was thrilled to see his crawl space fully sealed and protected against moisture damage from Florida's frequent rainstorms.
