Rick and Susan were worried about a major trip hazard that had developed in the concrete walkway that led up to the front door of their home in Odessa, Florida. A Design Specialist from LRE Foundation Repair visited their home to inspect the trip hazard and identified that soil settlement and roots from an adjacent tree had caused the concrete to sink at least three inches below ground level. The LRE team successfully leveled the concrete and effectively eliminated the trip hazard by injecting PolyLevel underneath the sunken slab. Rick and Susan experienced a sense of relief to see the trip hazard removed, providing them with peace of mind that their walkway was not only leveled but also permanently stabilized.
The concrete walkway leading to Tina’s front porch in Odessa, Florida, had developed into a significant tripping hazard. One of the concrete slabs was elevated off the surface of the ground, creating a height difference of several inches in comparison to the adjacent slab. After reaching out to LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, a Design Specialist visited Tina’s home to inspect the concrete and help devise a solution. Upon examining the walkway, the specialist found that a tree root under the concrete had caused one of the slabs to heave, lifting it above the other. Following the removal of the tree root, the LRE team stabilized the soil underneath the concrete and successfully lifted the slab back to its proper level using the PolyLevel solution. The trip hazard has been completely eliminated, and the concrete walkway is now stabilized with an even, level surface. Tina is now free from the concern of injury, with peace of mind knowing that the trip hazard is gone for good.
Edward in Pinellas Park, Florida, contacted us at LRE Foundation Repair with a concerning issue with his concrete driveway. The slabs positioned above a culvert pipe had broken off and settled onto the pipe itself, creating a major dip and tripping hazard in the driveway, while also crushing the pipe. One of our Design Specialists visited Edward’s home and discovered a significant amount of soil had washed out from beneath the driveway, creating a void that caused the slabs to lose their support and sink in the process. Our production team used PolyLevel by injecting the two-part polymer foam directly underneath the concrete slabs to fill the void and level the slabs. The concrete slabs are now back to their proper, even level, and the void below is completely filled, providing Edward with the peace of mind that his concrete driveway is now permanently stabilized.
In Weeki Wachee, Florida, the owners of a commercial property contacted LRE Foundation Repair to address uneven concrete slabs throughout their parking lot. The shifting slabs had created serious tripping hazards, and the owners were eager to have them repaired before any accidents could occur.
After a thorough inspection by one of our expert Design Specialists, it was determined that soil erosion beneath the parking area had caused the slabs to settle unevenly. To resolve the issue, we proposed using our PolyLevel system to lift, level, and permanently stabilize the affected areas.
With the owner's approval, our team began the repair process by injecting the PolyLevel solution beneath the concrete. This carefully elevated the slabs back to a safe, even level, effectively eliminating the trip hazards.
Thanks to the successful repair, the parking lot is now much safer for both staff and customers alike.
The owners of a commercial property in Weeki Wachee, Florida, contacted LRE Foundation Repair for help repairing sections of their concrete parking lot where the slabs had settled and cracked, creating significant tripping hazards. Concerned about the risk of injury, they requested a free inspection, and we sent one of our expert Design Specialists to assess the damage and provide a solution. After evaluating the site, our specialist explained that substantial settlement of the underlying soil had caused the concrete to sink and crack. To address the issue, we recommended implementing our Two-Part Concrete Protection System to permanently level and restore the affected areas.
After reviewing the plan, the property owners approved the repairs. Our team began by injecting our PolyLevel solution beneath the concrete slabs, carefully lifting them back to a safe, even level while stabilizing the soil to prevent further settlement. Next, we sealed the cracks and joints with NexusPro to prevent water from seeping below and causing additional erosion. Upon completion, the parking lot was fully repaired, the trip hazards were eliminated, and the property was once again safe and secure.
