Sydney, a homeowner in Port Saint Lucie, Florida, became alarmed when a noticeable tripping hazard formed in the concrete walkway alongside her home, creating a safety concern for her family. Seeking a dependable repair option that avoided the expense and hassle of replacing the concrete, Sydney turned to LRE Foundation Repair for help.
Following a thorough inspection by our Design Specialist, it was determined that excessive rainwater from a nearby gutter downspout had washed away the soil beneath the walkway, leading to the concrete settling and creating the tripping hazard. A plan was created to lift the settling slabs back to their proper, even level with our PolyLevel solution.
After reviewing this plan with Sydney, our team soon began lifting the concrete walkway back to its proper level by injecting the PolyLevel solution directly beneath the slabs. Within just a few short minutes, the concrete walkway was completely restored to its original, even surface, eliminating the tripping hazard and ensuring a safe environment for Sydney and her family.
With the soil stabilized and the walkway securely leveled, Sydney now enjoys peace of mind knowing that her walkway is not only safe but also permanently stabilized.
