Ann had noticed signs of settlement on the right side of her home in Sarasota, Florida, and needed to address the issue before it progressed further. She intended to leave the home to her niece and nephew and didn’t want them to inherit an unstable property. She asked LRE Foundation Repair to inspect the crawl space beneath her home, and we promptly scheduled an appointment with one of our Design Specialists. Upon careful examination, the specialist found many of the wooden support joists had been damaged, and the original block piers supporting them had settled into the ground. Our production team replaced some of the wooden support joists and installed the SmartJack system to provide the needed support to fully stabilize the home. In addition, LumberKote was applied to the wooden joists to protect them from further moisture damage. Ann’s home is now permanently stabilized, giving her the peace of mind that it is ready to be passed on to future generations.
