Charles and his wife had just purchased their new home in Saint Petersburg, Florida, with the intention of remodeling it from the ground up. The house, originally built in the 1920s, showed its age, with the floors on the right side of the home exhibiting signs of sloping. They asked us at LRE Foundation Repair to conduct a thorough inspection of the crawl space and help design a plan to stabilize and level the home’s floors. Our Design Specialist entered the crawl space and immediately noticed that the original block piers supporting the floor joists had suffered from soil settlement, resulting in a lack of support for the floors and causing them to slope. Our production team installed our state-of-the-art SmartJack system in the key areas of the crawl space to provide sturdy and permanent support to the floor joists. Charles and his wife can now continue with their home’s renovations, knowing that their foundation is fully leveled and permanently stabilized.
