After assessing the crawl space, our Design Specialist created a comprehensive plan to stabilize the home’s floor joists with our SmartJack system and encapsulate the space with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System to help protect it from moisture issues. Pawan gave our team his approval to begin the work, and we started by encapsulating the entire crawl space with the CleanSpace moisture barrier. The CleanSpace system also includes a specialized dehumidifier designed to keep the air in the crawl space clean and dry throughout the year.
Our team then repaired damaged floor joists, treated areas with mold growth, and installed the SmartJack system to provide durable and permanent support. For additional protection, our team also installed an EverLast Crawl Space Door at the entrance to provide an airtight seal and help prevent humid air and pests from entering.
