Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Crawl Space Encapsulation & Stabilization in St. Petersburg, FL

Effie in St. Petersburg, FL, had noticed areas inside her home where the floors appeared to be sinking, raising concerns about the structural integrity of the crawl space below. After contacting LRE Foundation Repair to have the crawl space inspected, we sent one of our Design Specialists to Effie's home to take a closer look. Our specialist found that the wooden floor joists in the crawl space required additional support, as the original block piers had settled and some areas lacked support altogether. Additionally, elevated moisture levels were discovered in the crawl space, leaving the area damp and susceptible to mold and other moisture-related issues. We developed a comprehensive plan to stabilize the crawl space with our SmartJack system while also fully encapsulating it with the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. After Effie approved the plan, our team began by clearing the crawl space of debris and installing the CleanSpace moisture barrier. Next, the SmartJack system was carefully installed throughout the crawl space to provide additional support for the floor joists, bringing them back toward their proper level and securing them in place. Once the project was complete, Effie was thrilled with the results and could feel confident knowing that the crawl space beneath her home was structurally supported and protected against moisture-related issues.
