Crawl Space Inspection
An inspection of the home's crawl space by an LRE Design Specialist revealed elevated moisture levels, which could lead to mold growth or deterioration of the wooden structural supports.
Moisture Level Detection
The LRE Design Specialists use specialized tools to gauge moisture levels in crawl spaces.
Drainage Matting Installation
The LRE team begins the encapsulation process by first removing debris and then placing drainage matting across the crawl space floor to assist with removing any flooding rainwater out of the area.
CleanSpace Moisture Barrier
Once the debris has been cleared out and the drainage matting has been installed, the LRE team proceeds to seal the entire crawl space with the CleanSpace moisture barrier to prevent damage and inhibit mold growth.
Exterior Drainage System
An exterior drainage system is installed outside of the home to help remove any flooding rainwater that enters the crawl space out to a relief drain.
Crawl Space Dehumidifier
Included with the installation of the CleanSpace system, a specialized dehumidifier is implemented in the crawl space to keep the air clean and dry all year-round.
Concealing Exterior Drainage System
The new exterior drainage system that extends out from the home's crawl space is carefully concealed beneath the home's yard and driveway.
Complete Crawl Space Encapsulation
Following the complete installation of the CleanSpace system by the LRE team, the homeowner's crawl space is now fully encapsulated and protected against moisture-related issues.
