The block piers supporting the joists had also settled, reducing structural stability. Several temporary support measures had been installed previously but ultimately proved ineffective. Elevated moisture levels were also detected, with mold and mildew affecting portions of the wooden joists. A comprehensive plan was developed to repair the damaged joists and permanently stabilize the floors using our SmartJack system. To address moisture and humidity concerns, we also recommended installing the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System. After Jeff approved the plan, our crews repaired the joists, installed the SmartJacks, and fully encapsulated the crawl space with the CleanSpace system—providing long-term protection against moisture damage.
