An LRE Design Specialist assessed the walkway and found that weak soil underneath the concrete had caused the slabs to sink into the ground and break away from the home's exterior wall. For a permanent solution, the team at LRE implemented the Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, PolyLevel was utilized to lift the concrete back into place against the wall, closing the gap. Next, the cracks and joints were sealed using NexusPro to stop water from intruding beneath the concrete and eroding more soil. Upon completion, Carol's walkway was restored to its original level and position against the home's wall and is now permanently stabilized against future settlement.
