The surface of Chris’s concrete walkway leading up to his front door in Riverview, Florida, had increasingly become uneven in recent years, with the slabs settling further into the ground and creating notable trip hazards as a result. After calling LRE Foundation Repair to inspect the concrete, our team quickly responded by implementing the Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, PolyLevel was administered to level the settling slabs and level the concrete. Next, the control joints between each slab were sealed with NexusPro to help prevent cracking and safeguard against water from seeping underneath the concrete. The result was an even, level surface for the walkway, with the added benefit of long-term stabilization against further settlement. Chris’s trip hazard concerns are now relieved, and he can feel secure knowing his concrete walkway is permanently stabilized.
Kim’s home in Dover, Florida, experienced frequent flooding whenever it rained, with water seeping into her enclosed patio and threatening her foundation. After exhausting temporary fixes, she turned to LRE Foundation Repair for a lasting solution. A Design Specialist conducted a thorough inspection and identified the root of the problem: poor drainage and overflowing downspouts that were failing to direct water away from the home. To resolve these issues, a comprehensive drainage repair plan was developed to better manage water flow around the property. The recommended drainage repair system included newly buried downspouts to carry roof runoff away from the foundation, along with strategically installed French drains and an EZ Flow system to efficiently capture and redirect excess groundwater. Together, these components created a reliable solution designed to prevent water from pooling near the home. The LRE team completed the drainage repair with precision and care, restoring the property and improving its overall condition. With the new system in place, Kim no longer has to worry about recurring flooding and can feel confident that her home is well-protected against future water intrusion.
James’s driveway in Dover, Florida, had developed a serious tripping hazard, causing both inconvenience and safety concerns. Wanting a permanent fix, he reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair. Our Customer Care team quickly scheduled a free inspection with one of our Design Specialists, who discovered that soil settlement had caused one of the slabs to sink, creating an uneven surface. Our specialist proposed having our team lift, level, and stabilize the slab with our PolyLevel solution. With James’s approval, our team carefully began injecting PolyLevel directly beneath the concrete, carefully lifting the slab to its proper level and providing it with permanent stabilization. The trip hazard in James’s concrete driveway is now completely eliminated, providing peace of mind for him and his family.
David, a homeowner in Valrico, Florida, experienced frequent yard flooding during heavy thunderstorms and turned to LRE Foundation Repair for a reliable drainage repair solution. An LRE Design Specialist performed a free, thorough inspection and identified that the existing gutter downspouts were discharging water too close to the home, contributing to saturated soil and standing water around the foundation. To correct the issue, a targeted drainage repair plan was developed to improve water diversion and long-term protection. The solution involved redirecting the downspouts into a newly installed underground EZ Flow French drain system, designed to efficiently collect and transport runoff away from the home. The system channels gutter water through subsurface drainage piping and safely discharges it at a pop-up relief drain located well away from the structure. With the drainage repair system in place, David’s yard flooding issues have been effectively resolved, providing lasting protection and peace of mind during Florida’s heavy rains.
Wendy and her husband from Sarasota, Florida, sought to restore their historic home but encountered a persistent musty odor throughout the home. Suspecting it originated from the crawl space, they asked LRE Foundation Repair to conduct a full-home inspection. After a thorough examination, an LRE Design Specialist recommended the CleanSpace Crawl Space Encapsulation System to regulate moisture, eliminate odor, and prevent mold growth. The LRE production team implemented the system in the crawl space, ensuring efficient moisture control and improved air quality inside the home. Wendy and her husband can now enjoy their historic home without the pesky odor or concerns about mold growth in their crawl space.
