Matthew noticed that his concrete patio stairs were gradually sinking over time, creating a significant trip hazard and prompting him to take immediate action to prevent the issue from worsening. A Design Specialist from LRE Foundation Repair visited Matthew’s home in Longwood, Florida, and conducted a comprehensive inspection of the concrete steps. After confirming that soil settlement was the cause for the steps to sink, the LRE team used PolyLevel to lift the concrete back to its proper level. Matthew was delighted with the outcome, as the stairsteps are now stabilized, and the trip hazard is gone for good.
Russ H. grew concerned with the trip hazard that had developed on the walkway of his Haines City, FL, home. He had noticed the concrete slabs had become uneven and knew he had to get them fixed before someone got hurt. He contacted LRE Foundation Repair for help. One of our expert LRE Design Specialists visited Russ’s home and conducted a full home inspection of the property. The specialist was able to identify soil settlement as the cause of the concrete slabs becoming unlevel. Our PolyLevel solution was recommended to raise the concrete and provide long-lasting stabilization against future settling. The LRE team went to work injecting the PolyLevel, effectively leveling the concrete slabs, and removing the trip hazard. Russ was very pleased to see that his home’s walkway was now safe and secure.
Robert B. of Ormond Beach, Florida called LRE Foundation Repair after growing concerned about large cracks forming in his pool deck. LRE completed an inspection of the property only to discover large voids had formed underground where armadillos had previously dug their dens. LRE formulated a plan to remedy the unstable soil situation by using PolyLevel injection around the pool deck. PolyLevel is an environmentally safe, expanding polymer material that is injected through small holes drilled in the concrete deck. As the material flows through loose soils, it expands on contact filling voids and creating stable ground. In addition, PolyLevel is able to lift concrete back level again, closing the cracks that concerned this homeowner. Once the project was complete, the homeowner was thrilled that his pool deck was crack-free and level once more.
Jeff from Ormond Beach, Florida, was in need of a more effective drainage solution around his home after experiencing heavy flooding following severe rainstorms. He called LRE Foundation Repair and scheduled a free inspection with one of our Design Specialists to help provide a solution. After carefully evaluating the existing drainage system at Jeff's home, our specialist designed a plan to install a new system, which included French drains around the perimeter of the property. The plan also involved connecting the gutter downspouts directly to the underground drainage system to prevent the water from dispersing around the foundation. The water collected by the French drains and downspouts would then be diverted out to a pop-up relief drain away from the property through an underground drainage pipe. Once Jeff approved the plan, our team installed the system, carefully concealing it below the surface. Now, with this enhanced drainage system in place, Jeff can be confident that his home is better protected from potential flood damage.
Diane’s concrete driveway in Ormond Beach, Florida, had developed a severe tripping hazard after one of the slabs had settled considerably. After reaching out to LRE Foundation Repair to schedule a free inspection, we sent one of our Design Specialists to assess the situation and help offer a solution. Upon verifying that the underlying soil had eroded, a plan was created to lift, level, and stabilize the concrete with PolyLevel. Our specialist reviewed this plan with Diane, and with her approval, our team promptly got to work. Using specialized equipment, they carefully lifted the sunken concrete and injected the PolyLevel solution beneath the driveway to effectively level and stabilize the concrete. Diane’s driveway is now safe and level, with the tripping hazard completely eliminated.
