A major tripping hazard developed in the concrete walkway leading to Erik’s home in Bartow, Florida, when one of the slabs sank significantly into the ground, creating an uneven surface. Wanting to find a reliable solution and prevent potential injuries, Erik contacted LRE Foundation Repair and scheduled a free appointment with one of our Design Specialists. After a thorough inspection, our specialist determined that soil erosion had caused the walkway to settle. Our team then used PolyLevel to lift and level the slab by injecting it directly beneath the concrete. Erik’s walkway is now fully restored to its proper level, eliminating any risk of injury.
Scott S. from Lake Alfred, FL, had been battling a trip hazard that had developed in his home's driveway. He reached out to LRE for help. An appointment was scheduled with one of LRE's expert Design Specialists to assess the driveway. During the inspection, the specialist discovered that soil settlement had caused sections of the concrete slabs to shift, leading to unlevel concrete. The specialist recommended our Two-Part Concrete Protection System, which includes PolyLevel to lift and level the sunken slabs, and NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints, preventing further separation and water seepage. After implementing the system, the team successfully restored the level of the driveway and sealed all the cracks, which provided a permanent solution to eliminate the trip hazard.
Farag A. had several large cracks in his driveway in Davenport, Florida, and was concerned about the safety of himself and his wife. So, he contacted LRE Foundation Repair to evaluate the damage and eliminate the trip hazards for good. After an inspection, LRE determined that the concrete slab had settled due to loose and shifting soils. They came up with a solution using PolyLevel, which is an expanding polyurethane foam material. This material was injected through small holes drilled into the concrete slab. As the material expanded beneath the surface of the driveway, it lifted the concrete back into place and closed the gaps that caused a potential risk. The homeowner was more than satisfied with the results of the project and had peace of mind knowing that he and his wife were safe from tripping hazards.
Gina from Davenport, Florida, began noticing cracks forming in her home’s concrete driveway, sparking concerns about worsening damage. Wanting to protect it before things got worse, she reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair.
After a thorough inspection, our team discovered that rainwater had slowly eroded the soil beneath her driveway. To prevent further water intrusion beneath both her driveway and connected walkway, we sealed the cracks and joints using NexusPro—a durable, silicone-based sealant designed to withstand UV rays and harsh weather without cracking, bubbling, or drying out.
Not only does NexusPro offer long-lasting protection, but it also improves curb appeal. With her concrete now properly sealed and protected, Gina has peace of mind knowing her driveway is safeguarded from future settlement damage.
David Q. arranged for a comprehensive inspection of his Placida, FL, home's crawl space by LRE Foundation Repair after observing substantial sagging in the floors of his residence. A Design Specialist discovered that the original block piers in the crawl space were not adequately supporting the wooden floor joists due to soil settlement. To address this, LRE installed SmartJacks to ensure sufficient and permanent stabilization for the floor joists. With this renewed support, David can finally put his foundational concerns to rest.
