After noticing sections of her home’s concrete driveway cracking and settling, Sheila in Hernando, Florida, asked LRE Foundation Repair to conduct a thorough inspection in hopes of finding a reliable repair solution that wouldn’t require replacing the concrete altogether. After our Design Specialist assessed the driveway, we identified soil settlement beneath the concrete as the root cause of the issue and recommended our Three-Part Concrete Protection System to fully level and repair the slabs.
Sheila agreed to the plan, and our team began by injecting PolyLevel directly beneath the concrete to stabilize the soil and lift the settling slabs. Next, the cracks were filled with NexusPro to prevent water from intruding beneath the driveway. Finally, DecoShield was applied to the surface to protect the concrete from chipping, flaking, and staining, while imparting an even gray translucent tint.
Upon completion, Sheila’s concrete driveway was fully repaired and restored to its proper level, with a refreshed appearance and permanent stabilization.
Dave from Largo, Florida, became increasingly worried after spotting large gaps appearing between the stair steps of his home’s front porch staircase, leading him to suspect the structure’s foundation was settling. Concerned about safety and further damage, he reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair for help.
Our Design Specialist visited Dave’s property to take a closer look and quickly identified the root of the problem: the soil beneath the stairs had settled, compromising the structure’s support and causing it to sink. We proposed a permanent repair solution that consisted of installing our helical pier system to lift the staircase and permanently restore its stability.
After reviewing the plan and giving our team his approval, Dave observed as our crew got to work. The helical piers were installed deep into solid, load-bearing soil, and the staircase was carefully lifted back to its proper position. With the gaps closed and the structure secured, Dave can now enjoy lasting peace of mind, knowing his front entry’s staircase is once again safe and secure.
A sidewalk in Ken’s community in Largo, Florida, had developed a significant tripping hazard, causing trouble for all the local residents. After being referred to LRE Foundation Repair, Ken reached out to us and scheduled an inspection to hopefully repair the sidewalk and prevent injuries to his fellow community members. Following a close examination by our Design Specialist, our team began repairing the sidewalk with our Two-Part Concrete Protection System. This involved using PolyLevel to lift and level the uneven slabs, and NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints. As a result, our team successfully removed the trip hazard threat, much to Ken and his community’s delight. With the trip hazard threat now permanently removed, Ken and his neighbors can enjoy their community’s sidewalk without fear of injury.
In Seminole, Florida, Clark noticed that the concrete pad on the side of his home had been steadily settling, creating a significant gap between the slab's stem wall and the side of the house. Concerned that the problem would worsen, he contacted LRE Foundation Repair for help. After conducting a detailed inspection, our Design Specialist determined that soil erosion beneath the pad had caused the concrete to sink over time. To resolve the issue, our team injected PolyLevel—a high-density polyurethane foam—beneath the slab to fill voids, lift it back to its original level, and provide long-lasting stabilization. With the gap now closed, Clark can rest easy knowing the slab is properly supported and protected against future settlement.
Brad’s concrete walkway at his home in Largo, Florida, had sustained significant damage, with the slabs becoming uneven and creating serious tripping hazards. Large cracks had also formed in the concrete over time due to the shifting of the slabs. Next, the cracks and joints were sealed with NexusPro to prevent water intrusion and improve the walkway’s overall curb appeal. After our team’s work, Brad’s walkway is now fully repaired and stabilized, with a smooth, level surface and enhanced appearance.
