Maria Q. of Lake Wales, Florida grew concerned about excess moisture accumulating in the crawl space beneath her home. Seeking a reliable solution, she contacted LRE Foundation Repair, where an experienced Design Specialist performed a comprehensive inspection. The evaluation confirmed elevated moisture levels in the crawl space, which had led to mold growth, damaged the wooden floor joists, and compromised the home’s indoor air quality. To address these issues, a targeted crawlspace repair plan was recommended. This included replacing the deteriorated floor joists and installing the CleanSpace Encapsulation System—an advanced solution engineered to control moisture, improve airflow, and deter pests. The encapsulation process involves sealing the crawl space with a durable, waterproof liner, effectively preventing moisture intrusion and protecting the structural components. In addition, a drainage repair system was implemented, featuring a sump pump and dehumidifier to maintain a consistently dry and healthy environment. Upon completion, Maria’s crawl space was transformed, enhancing both the stability of her home’s foundation and the overall air quality for long-term peace of mind.
Larry and Lori from Lake Wales, Florida, were dealing with a serious tripping hazard that had developed in the concrete of their front porch, so they reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair for help. After a thorough inspection by our Design Specialist, we confirmed that significant soil erosion beneath the porch had caused the concrete to settle.
To fix the issue, our production team got to work by injecting our PolyLevel solution beneath the affected slabs, lifting, leveling, and stabilizing the porch quickly and effectively. Now, Larry and Lori can enjoy their front porch without worry—the tripping hazard is gone, and the concrete is fully leveled and permanently stabilized.
After Hurricane Ian damaged the area of Sanibel, Florida, Mr. P.'s home suffered severe washout causing gaping holes under the foundation of his home. He called LRE Foundation Repair for help. Working with structural engineers, LRE was able to design a solution that included flowable fill, a fluid-like slurry grout mixture that cures, fills voids and creates a stable foundation. The material was poured around the perimeter of home filling in the necessary gaps, and once cured PolyLevel, a two-part expandable polyurethane material, was injected to the needed areas to add compaction to the loose soils below. Once his foundation was stabilized, the homeowner was pleased with the finished product and confident he could continue the rebuild to the rest of his home.
Eric in Sanibel, Florida, needed an effective solution to divert excess rainwater flowing toward his home from a nearby street culvert. His home has an elevated foundation and he knew the damaging impact the flooding water had on the support structure. He reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair to help provide a solution. We sent one of our expert Design Specialists out to Eric’s home to conduct a full home inspection to gain a better understanding of the problem he was facing. After careful analysis of the property, the specialist created a plan to install a new, effective drainage system for the home. First, a French drain would be installed around the perimeter of the affected area of the foundation to collect and route water away from the area. Next, the home’s downspouts that are connected to the gutter system on the roof would be connected directly to the underground French drain and pipe system to prevent further flooding in the area. To help further remove excess rainwater during torrential downpours, a Liberty Sump Pump would be included along with the new drainage system. With Eric’s approval, our team went to work installing the new drainage system, helping ensure that his home’s foundation would be safeguarded against the negative impact of pooling water. Following the completion of the installation, Eric can now feel relieved knowing his home was prepared to withstand the heavy Florida rainstorms.
As Lisa and her husband prepared to list their home in Geneva, FL, they needed to address sunken concrete slabs on their back patio caused by soil settlement. Concerned that the tripping hazard could deter potential buyers, they contacted LRE Foundation Repair for a free inspection.
After evaluating the issue, our team used PolyLevel to lift, level, and stabilize the slabs. Injected beneath the concrete, the expanding polyurethane foam quickly filled voids and restored the patio to its original, even surface.
In just a short time, the concrete patio was fully leveled and repaired - giving Lisa and her husband peace of mind as they prepared their home for the market.
