Bailey in Lakeland, FL, was dealing with ongoing water issues as rain would regularly collect near her home and threaten the foundation—especially around the garage. She reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for help, and after a free inspection by one of our Design Specialists, a tailored drainage solution was designed to address the problem at its source.
As part of the system, our crew installed a new channel drain in the driveway to capture and redirect rainwater before it could enter the garage. The team carefully removed precise sections of concrete, set the drain into place, and then restored the surface with fresh concrete for a clean, seamless finish. With the new drainage system in place, Bailey’s garage and foundation are now protected from water intrusion during heavy rainstorms.

Following a full assessment of the property, a custom drainage solution was designed to control and redirect stormwater away from the home. A key part of the plan included installing a new channel drain across the driveway to capture runoff before it could flow into the garage. Our crew carefully cut and removed sections of concrete, installed the drain within the trench, and then restored the surface with new concrete to ensure a smooth, finished appearance.
With the system fully installed, rainwater is now effectively managed and directed away from the home, helping to protect Bailey’s foundation and garage from future water damage.
Todd F. contacted LRE to assess the severity of the settlement occurring at his home in Lakeland, Florida. Todd was concerned about the cracks throughout his home, most noticeably on the exterior walls and interior floor tiles. A whole home inspection was conducted, and it was determined by our foundation experts that unstable soils were causing the problem. To remedy the issue, our specialist designed a solution to stabilize the foundation from further settlement and lift the side of the home where settlement was most severe. Galvanized steel helical piers were installed by our trained crews around the perimeter of the home. Helical piers transfer the weight of the home from the unstable soil to the piers. Our team was thrilled to be able to help Todd permanently stabilize his home for good while significantly minimizing those large cracks.
Tom N. of Lakeland, Florida needed to fix the sinking concrete slab for his tenants, as they had concerns of tripping hazards. He decided to call LRE Foundation Repair for a possible solution. LRE conducted a thorough inspection to the property and noted high-volume areas of erosion and soil washout that had accelerated the process of the sinking concrete slabs around the home. To rectify this problem, LRE utilized PolyLevel, a concrete lifting and releveling service for uneven concrete slabs. This product is made of a polymer-type foam material that when applied, expands to fill voids and lift concrete, and solidifies for compaction and soil stabilization. Upon the completion of this project, the property owner was thrilled to see the concrete gaps closed and the walkways even and level once more.
