A condominium association in Dunedin, Florida contacted LRE Foundation Repair after receiving complaints of structural damage and sagging floors in a few of the units. They noted that over-exposure to the elements and foundation settlement were the main cause of rotten wood joists, mold, damaged insulation, and water intrusion. LRE then custom-designed a solution using SmartJacks and its Crawlspace Encapsulation System, which together would control moisture, air flow, and stabilize the structure. SmartJacks are made of galvanized steel posts that are custom-fit and adjusted to lift foundations back level, while the Encapsulation system dries up the area and prevents and protects from future damage. Once the job was complete, the association was thrilled at the look of the new, clean crawlspace and relieved its residents could rest easy.
