Farag A. had several large cracks in his driveway in Davenport, Florida, and was concerned about the safety of himself and his wife. So, he contacted LRE Foundation Repair to evaluate the damage and eliminate the trip hazards for good. After an inspection, LRE determined that the concrete slab had settled due to loose and shifting soils. They came up with a solution using PolyLevel, which is an expanding polyurethane foam material. This material was injected through small holes drilled into the concrete slab. As the material expanded beneath the surface of the driveway, it lifted the concrete back into place and closed the gaps that caused a potential risk. The homeowner was more than satisfied with the results of the project and had peace of mind knowing that he and his wife were safe from tripping hazards.
Gina from Davenport, Florida, began noticing cracks forming in her home’s concrete driveway, sparking concerns about worsening damage. Wanting to protect it before things got worse, she reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair.
After a thorough inspection, our team discovered that rainwater had slowly eroded the soil beneath her driveway. To prevent further water intrusion beneath both her driveway and connected walkway, we sealed the cracks and joints using NexusPro—a durable, silicone-based sealant designed to withstand UV rays and harsh weather without cracking, bubbling, or drying out.
Not only does NexusPro offer long-lasting protection, but it also improves curb appeal. With her concrete now properly sealed and protected, Gina has peace of mind knowing her driveway is safeguarded from future settlement damage.
David Q. arranged for a comprehensive inspection of his Placida, FL, home's crawl space by LRE Foundation Repair after observing substantial sagging in the floors of his residence. A Design Specialist discovered that the original block piers in the crawl space were not adequately supporting the wooden floor joists due to soil settlement. To address this, LRE installed SmartJacks to ensure sufficient and permanent stabilization for the floor joists. With this renewed support, David can finally put his foundational concerns to rest.
Theodore from DeLand, Florida, reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for assistance with his concrete walkway, where a couple of slabs had sunken and created a tripping hazard. Following a thorough inspection by one of our expert Design Specialists, it was discovered that significant soil erosion beneath the walkway had caused the slabs to settle. A plan was devised to fully level and stabilize the uneven slabs with our PolyLevel solution. Our team promptly injected the PolyLevel solution beneath the sunken slabs, filling the voids, stabilizing the surrounding soil, and lifting the uneven slabs back to their original, level position. With his concrete walkway now fully leveled and permanently stabilized, Theodore can feel at ease now that the tripping hazard has been completely eliminated.
Justin’s concrete front patio in DeLand, Florida, had settled noticeably—along with the connected driveway—creating a tripping hazard right at the front door. Planning to convert the home into a rental property, Justin reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for help and scheduled a free inspection.
After our Design Specialist assessed the area, it was confirmed that soil erosion beneath the concrete had caused the slabs to sink. To resolve the issue, we proposed lifting, leveling, and stabilizing the patio using our PolyLevel® solution. With Justin’s approval, our crew carefully injected PolyLevel beneath the slabs, restoring the patio to a safe, even level.
With the concrete now stabilized and the trip hazard eliminated, Justin can move forward with other renovations, confident that future tenants will have a safer, more welcoming entryway.
