Mary from Orlando, Florida, reached out to LRE Foundation Repair to report that water was intruding into the sunroom next to her pool deck. She previously had a drainage system installed that proved to be ineffective, so she asked us to help design an alternative solution. One of our Design Specialists visited Mary’s home to inspect the issue and developed a plan to install an EZ Flow French drain system along the sunroom's exterior walls. This system would work to collect and redirect water to a relief drain away from the home. With Mary’s approval, our production team soon stepped in and began installing the French drain by removing the appropriate amount of soil in order to position the system below the surface. Once the system was in place, we carefully concealed the French drain to provide a seamless appearance. Mary’s sunroom now benefits from an effective solution to prevent further water intrusion, much to her relief.
In Port Orange, Florida, Paul’s pool deck required a more effective drainage solution after he noticed water pooling in the area following heavy rainstorms. After reaching out to us at LRE Foundation Repair to schedule a free appointment, we sent one of our expert Design Specialists to conduct a thorough inspection of his pool deck. Our specialist determined that the pre-existing channel drain embedded in the pool deck’s concrete had become damaged over time and no longer provided sufficient drainage.
A plan was created to implement a new drainage solution, which involved replacing the old channel drain with an enhanced version designed to collect and divert excess rainwater to a pop-up relief drain located away from the pool deck. After presenting this new solution to Paul, our production team quickly began the installation process, carefully removing and replacing the old channel drain with the more effective drainage system. Paul’s pool deck is now equipped with the right solution to prevent water from pooling, effectively protecting both the concrete and the foundation of his home.
Eric in Sanibel, Florida, needed an effective solution to divert excess rainwater flowing toward his home from a nearby street culvert. His home has an elevated foundation and he knew the damaging impact the flooding water had on the support structure. He reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair to help provide a solution. We sent one of our expert Design Specialists out to Eric’s home to conduct a full home inspection to gain a better understanding of the problem he was facing. After careful analysis of the property, the specialist created a plan to install a new, effective drainage system for the home. First, a French drain would be installed around the perimeter of the affected area of the foundation to collect and route water away from the area. Next, the home’s downspouts that are connected to the gutter system on the roof would be connected directly to the underground French drain and pipe system to prevent further flooding in the area. To help further remove excess rainwater during torrential downpours, a Liberty Sump Pump would be included along with the new drainage system. With Eric’s approval, our team went to work installing the new drainage system, helping ensure that his home’s foundation would be safeguarded against the negative impact of pooling water. Following the completion of the installation, Eric can now feel relieved knowing his home was prepared to withstand the heavy Florida rainstorms.
The customer's driveway and lawn would flood when it received significant rain. We fixed the issue by installing a catch basin that drains the water away from the driveway and lawn and towards the sewer.
Sharon in Frostproof, Florida, had long been dealing with persistent flooding issues along the left side of her home and sought assistance from LRE Foundation Repair to help provide a solution. Following a full home inspection by one of our Design Specialists, a plan was devised to install an effective exterior drainage system. This included strategically placing a channel drain within the concrete walkway along the perimeter of the affected side of the home. Additionally, the downspouts extending from the home’s gutter system would be connected directly to the underground pipe system of the channel drain, ensuring that water is effectively directed away from the home. Our production team implemented the plan, and upon successful completion, Sharon was pleased to see that the flooding issues on the left side of her home have been effectively resolved.
