Justin’s concrete front patio in DeLand, Florida, had settled noticeably—along with the connected driveway—creating a tripping hazard right at the front door. Planning to convert the home into a rental property, Justin reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for help and scheduled a free inspection.
After our Design Specialist assessed the area, it was confirmed that soil erosion beneath the concrete had caused the slabs to sink. To resolve the issue, we proposed lifting, leveling, and stabilizing the patio using our PolyLevel® solution. With Justin’s approval, our crew carefully injected PolyLevel beneath the slabs, restoring the patio to a safe, even level.
With the concrete now stabilized and the trip hazard eliminated, Justin can move forward with other renovations, confident that future tenants will have a safer, more welcoming entryway.
Frank B. contacted LRE Foundation Repair after learning about our wide range of concrete services. He specifically wanted to address the cracks in his driveway and have the area re-leveled. LRE conducted a full inspection of his home and noted that the majority of the damage was caused by shifting and washed-out soils as well as the age of the property. LRE immediately addressed all of the homeowner's concerns. Our team first used PolyLevel, an expanding polyurethane foam material, to inject underneath the concrete driveway, which lifted and re-leveled it while permanently stabilizing the area. Next, LRE used NexusPro to fix and protect the driveway by sealing cracks and joints. NexusPro is a silicone-based crack sealer and perfect final step in this project. Once the job was complete, the homeowner was thrilled with the outcome and happy that his driveway looked like new again.
John M. of Winter Haven, Florida noticed his jacuzzi concrete slab was shifting, and the full extent of the issue became clear once the unit was removed, revealing a large crack running across it. Concerned about possible foundation damage, he contacted LRE Foundation Repair for a full inspection of the pool deck area. LRE identified that a failing drainage system and poorly directed downspout had caused soil erosion beneath the slab, leading to settlement and cracking. To restore stability, the team installed the PolyLevel® system to lift and level the concrete by filling voids and strengthening the underlying soils. NexusPro® joint sealant was then applied to seal cracks and joints and help prevent future water intrusion. To complete the concrete repair, LRE added a new drainage system to properly redirect runoff away from the foundation. With the slab stabilized, sealed, and protected by improved drainage, John now has lasting peace of mind and a fully restored concrete surface.
Thomas O. of Winter Haven, Florida has lived in his home for many years and was growing tired of the cracked and uneven concrete slabs that surrounded his backyard pool. The concrete was so unlevel in some places that it was causing tripping hazards around the pool. He called LRE Foundation Repair for a solution and upon inspection, LRE determined that loose soils, coupled with large trees and root systems were the main causes of the shifting slabs. LRE designed a solution that consisted of PolyLevel, a high-density injectable polymer foam material that expands, filling voids and lifting concrete. Once the PolyLevel was injected under multiple concrete slabs throughout the backyard, the homeowner was more than pleased to see the trip hazards removed and a smooth, releveled pool deck remaining.
