Dan and Diane L. recently moved into their Melbourne, Florida home and immediately wanted their sunken and unlevel driveway repaired. Having experienced a broken bone from a previous trip hazard, these homeowners did not want to endure that again. LRE completed an inspection of the home, noting that buried tree roots were mainly to blame for their broken driveway. LRE was able to lift and re-level the affected areas of the driveway using PolyLevel, a two-part expanding foam material that is injected underneath the concrete slab. This material flows easily through soils, filling voids and expanding to lift the concrete back in place. Once the project was complete, these homeowners were thrilled to have the peace of mind they were looking for and tripping hazards removed.
Virginia’s driveway in Palm Bay, Florida, had suffered extensive settlement damage, with large cracks spreading across the surface and sections of the slabs sinking, creating dangerous tripping hazards. To avoid the cost of a full concrete replacement, she reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for help.
During the inspection, our Design Specialist identified significant soil washout beneath the driveway as the cause of the cracking and settling. To address the issue, our team implemented the Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, PolyLevel was injected beneath the driveway to lift and level the sunken slabs while stabilizing the soil. Then, NexusPro was applied to seal the cracks and joints, preventing water intrusion and improving the driveway’s appearance.
With the repairs complete, Virginia’s driveway is now fully stabilized and level, providing a safe, long-lasting solution without the need for costly replacement.

Cindy R.’s pool deck in her Sebastian, FL, home had experienced significant settlement in certain areas of the concrete that posed severe trip hazards. Along with the potential threat of injury, the sinking slabs also allowed water to flood the area when it rained. Interested in our concrete pool deck repair and leveling services, Cindy invited LRE Foundation Repair to come out to her home and inspect the situation. An expert Design Specialist found that unstable soil underneath the pool deck had caused the concrete to sink, creating an uneven surface between the slabs and the perimeter of the pool. With the trip hazard removed, Cindy and her family can now feel safe and free from the risk of potential injuries.
