The concrete walkway alongside Carol's home in Punta Gorda, Florida, appeared to be pulling away from the house, leaving a significant gap between the wall and the concrete. She called LRE Foundation Repair to schedule a free inspection to find out what solutions may be available. An LRE Design Specialist assessed the walkway and found that weak soil underneath the concrete had caused the slabs to sink into the ground and break away from the home's exterior wall. For a permanent solution, the team at LRE implemented the Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, PolyLevel was utilized to lift the concrete back into place against the wall, closing the gap. Next, the cracks and joints were sealed using NexusPro to stop water from intruding beneath the concrete and eroding more soil. Upon completion, Carol's walkway was restored to its original level and position against the home's wall and is now permanently stabilized against future settlement.
Travis, a homeowner in Port Charlotte, Florida, was preparing to put his house on the market when he noticed a serious tripping hazard—cracked and uneven concrete along the side of his driveway. Concerned about safety and curb appeal, he reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for help. After a thorough inspection, our expert Design Specialist identified soil settlement as the root cause. We recommended our trusted PolyLevel® solution to lift, level, and permanently stabilize the affected area. With Travis’s approval, our team injected PolyLevel beneath the settled slabs, carefully restoring the concrete to a smooth, even surface. With the hazard eliminated, Travis can now sell his home with confidence and peace of mind.
Richard from Daytona Beach, Florida, asked LRE Foundation Repair for assistance with fixing up his home’s concrete driveway which had suffered from extensive damage due to erosion of the underlying soil. Many cracks had developed throughout the surface, and sections of the concrete had sunk, creating numerous tripping hazards. One of our Design Specialists visited Richard’s home to inspect the driveway and designed a comprehensive plan to fully repair and transform his driveway using our Three-Part Concrete Protection System. First, our production team leveled the sunken sections of the driveway using PolyLevel. Next, they sealed all the cracks and joints with the NexusPro solution. Finally, they applied the DecoShield Concrete Sealer to the entire driveway, sealing the surface and imparting an even, translucent tint throughout. Richard was thrilled with the result, as his driveway is now not only fully repaired but also boasts enhanced curb appeal.
David W. called LRE concerned after noticing his front porch sinking and cracks growing larger quickly. LRE completed a full inspection of David's house located in Port Orange, FL, and determined that animal borings had significantly compromised the soil beneath his porch. To remedy David's issues, our team injected PolyLevel underneath the patio slab to strengthen and stabilize the soil. PolyLevel is a highly expandable foam material injected through very small drill holes in the concrete. As the material flows and mixes with the soil, it expands to fill all voids and starts to lift the concrete back into place. After this porch was treated, this homeowner could rest easy knowing his porch was stabilized and even, leaving only the Florida pests to deal with.
Larry and Lori from Lake Wales, Florida, were dealing with a serious tripping hazard that had developed in the concrete of their front porch, so they reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair for help. After a thorough inspection by our Design Specialist, we confirmed that significant soil erosion beneath the porch had caused the concrete to settle.
To fix the issue, our production team got to work by injecting our PolyLevel solution beneath the affected slabs, lifting, leveling, and stabilizing the porch quickly and effectively. Now, Larry and Lori can enjoy their front porch without worry—the tripping hazard is gone, and the concrete is fully leveled and permanently stabilized.
