Glenn D. of Inverness, Florida was recovering from health issues and was growing concerned about the concrete walkways around his house. The concrete had settled leaving uneven areas and tripping hazards. He decided to call LRE Foundation Repair to fix his walkway and give him peace of mind. LRE completed an inspection around the home, taking careful measurements of the voids that had formed under the slab over time due to washed out soils. LRE designed a solution that comprised injecting PolyLevel into small holes in the concrete around the walkway. PolyLevel is a two-part, expanding foam material that fills voids, compacts soils, and lifts concrete slabs back in place. Once the project was completed, the homeowner could finally rest easy, feeling safe to walk around his home without issue.
Check out this incredible transformation of Richard's driveway in Inverness, FL! Notice in the before photo how the uneven driveway slabs posed a serious trip hazard—a common issue we see in homes. Instead of opting for a full concrete replacement, which is often costly and disruptive, we applied our PolyLevel solution. As you can see in the After photo, the driveway is now perfectly leveled, creating a safe and aesthetically pleasing entrance to the home. Our mission held true: providing a lasting and reliable fix that not only resolved the issue but also significantly improved the homeowner’s daily experience.
Sections of Andre’s concrete front patio of their Inverness, Florida, home had become uneven, with some areas having sunk almost an inch. Wanting to avoid any potential injuries from the trip hazards, Andre reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair to find a reliable fix. Our Design Specialist visited their home and inspected the patio, verifying that the concrete had sunk due to settlement of the underlying soil. Our production team utilized PolyLevel to lift and level the sunken slabs by directly injecting the polymer foam underneath the concrete. Now Andre’s patio is not only back to it’s proper level, but the concrete is also permanently stabilized.
Ronald’s concrete walkway at his home in Inverness, FL, needed to re-leveled after a couple of the slabs had settled and created a major tripping hazard. He called us at LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, and following a complimentary inspection by our Design Specialist, we had our team permanently lift, level, and stabilize the concrete walkway with PolyLevel. Injected directly beneath the slabs, the two-part polyurethane foam quickly expands to fill voids and stabilize the underlying soil, while simultaneously elevating the concrete to an even, safe level. Now Ronald no longer has to be concerned about tripping injuries, as his concrete walkway is now fully leveled and stabilized.
Rick and Susan were worried about a major trip hazard that had developed in the concrete walkway that led up to the front door of their home in Odessa, Florida. A Design Specialist from LRE Foundation Repair visited their home to inspect the trip hazard and identified that soil settlement and roots from an adjacent tree had caused the concrete to sink at least three inches below ground level. The LRE team successfully leveled the concrete and effectively eliminated the trip hazard by injecting PolyLevel underneath the sunken slab. Rick and Susan experienced a sense of relief to see the trip hazard removed, providing them with peace of mind that their walkway was not only leveled but also permanently stabilized.
