The concrete driveway at Rosemary’s home in Lutz, Florida, had sustained extensive damage, with numerous cracks forming across the surface and sections becoming uneven, creating significant tripping hazards. After reaching out to us at LRE Foundation Repair in hopes of finding a solution, we quickly scheduled an appointment with one of our expert Design Specialists to inspect her driveway. Following a thorough examination, it was discovered that the soil beneath the driveway had settled, leading to a lack of stable support for the concrete, which caused it to sink and crack. A plan was created to not only repair the concrete but also provide it with long-lasting protection by utilizing our Three-Part Concrete Protection System. First, our team injected PolyLevel directly beneath the concrete to lift and level the uneven sections and stabilize the underlying soil. Next, the cracks and joints in the concrete were sealed with NexusPro to protect against water intrusion. Finally, DecoShield was applied to seal the surface against flaking, staining, and chipping, while adding a light grey translucent tint to enhance curb appeal. Now, Rosemary’s driveway is not only permanently repaired and stabilized but also boasts an improved visual aesthetic.
Bill’s home in Holmes Beach, Florida, has been in his family since its original construction in the 1950s. After Hurricanes Helene and Milton swept through the area, causing significant damage, he noticed that a section of the interior slab had settled by more than an inch, leaving a noticeable gap between the floors and the connecting walls. Concerned about the structural integrity of his home, Bill reached out to LRE Foundation Repair to request a free inspection.
Our expert Design Specialist visited Bill’s home and confirmed that a significant amount of soil beneath the interior slab had washed away, causing the slab to settle. Our team stepped in and utilized PolyLevel by injecting the solution directly beneath the concrete to fill the voids and lift the interior slab back to its proper position. Bill was amazed with the results and expressed great appreciation for our team’s work, as he can now enjoy peace of mind that his home’s interior slab is now stabilized.
