After residents of a condominium community in St. Petersburg, FL, began noticing cracks appearing in the walls, the homeowners’ association contacted LRE Foundation Repair to inspect the condition of the building’s foundation. One of our local Design Specialists performed a complimentary inspection and discovered soil washout beneath the structure that had created significant voids, causing the foundation to shift.
To correct the issue, we designed a permanent stabilization plan using our helical pier system. Once the HOA approved the project, our team carefully excavated around the affected areas of the foundation and advanced each pier deep into the ground until stable, load-bearing soil was reached. The piers were then securely attached to the foundation footing, transferring the weight of the building to stronger soil layers capable of providing lasting support.
With the new support system in place, the foundation was carefully lifted back to its proper position, closing the wall cracks in the process. The building is now permanently stabilized and supported by a reliable foundation system, giving residents confidence that their property is structurally sound and protected for the future.
Carlos, residing in St. Petersburg, Florida, was in search of reliable concrete driveway repair services and reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for help. Over the years, soil settlement had caused the concrete slabs to sink and become uneven, resulting in significant cracks and trip hazards throughout the driveway. The LRE team implemented the Two-Part Concrete Protection System to restore the concrete. This involved utilizing PolyLevel to lift and level the sunken slabs and applying NexusPro to seal the cracks and joints, preventing water from seeping under the concrete. Carlos's driveway has been fully restored, with the concrete now leveled, stabilized, and safeguarded against any further settlement.
A significant trip hazard had formed in Andrew’s concrete back patio in Saint Petersburg, Florida, as one of the slabs had sunken into the soil below. He called us at LRE Foundation Repair and asked for one of our Design Specialists to inspect to concrete and help offer a solution. Upon careful examination, the specialist identified soil erosion had occurred beneath the patio, causing the patio to sink. Our production team utilized PolyLevel by injecting it directly underneath the concrete to both lift the sunken slab and stabilize the underlying soil. Andrew’s concrete back patio is now fully leveled and stabilized, alleviating his concerns about the potential risk of injury.
Diane from St. Petersburg, FL, needed to have her home’s concrete driveway leveled after the slabs had become severely uneven, resulting in significant tripping hazards. She called us at LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, and we scheduled a free inspection with one of our expert Design Specialists. Upon assessing the driveway, it was discovered that underlying tree roots had pushed up on the slabs, causing them to heave. Following the removal of the roots, our team stepped in and utilized our Two-Part Concrete Protection System to fully level the slabs and provide the driveway with long-lasting protection. First, PolyLevel was injected directly beneath the concrete to carefully lift, level, and stabilize the slabs. Next, the joints between the slabs were sealed with NexusPro to prevent water from intruding beneath the driveway and causing soil erosion. Upon completion, Diane’s concrete driveway was restored to its proper, safe level, with the trip hazards removed and the slabs permanently stabilized.
Stephen H. reached out to LRE Foundation Repair after becoming increasingly frustrated with excessive water pooling in his backyard and seeping into his garage during heavy rains. Concerned about potential damage to his foundation and property, he requested a professional evaluation. Following a thorough inspection, LRE’s drainage specialists designed a customized drainage repair solution focused on effective water management and long-term protection. The plan included strategic grading improvements, the installation of subsurface drainage systems, hard piping, and the integration of catch basins to collect and redirect excess water away from the home. With the new system in place, water is now efficiently diverted away from both the backyard and garage, preventing further intrusion and erosion and allowing Stephen to enjoy a dry, stable property with the confidence that his home’s foundation is well-protected against future storms.
