Barry's pool deck at his home in Naples, Florida, had suffered extensive damage, with one of the slabs cracking and sinking into the ground, creating a serious tripping hazard. After calling us at LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, we sent one of our Design Specialists to carefully inspect the pool deck and help offer a solution. Upon close examination, our specialist determined that erosion of the underlying soil had caused the pool deck to become unstable and settle. For a comprehensive repair solution, our team implemented our Two-Part Concrete Repair Solution. First, PolyLevel was injected directly beneath the concrete pool deck to lift the sunken slab back to its proper level and eliminating the trip hazard. Next, the cracks were sealed with NexusPro, preventing water intrusion and enhancing the overall appearance of the pool deck. Barry’s concrete pool deck has been fully restored to a proper, even level, with the tripping hazard eliminated and the deck safeguarded against future settlement damage.
Megan F. of Rockledge, Florida was dealing with persistent water pooling around her pool deck, creating slippery, mildew-prone conditions and raising safety concerns. Determined to resolve the issue permanently, she contacted LRE Foundation Repair for a professional evaluation. After a comprehensive inspection, LRE identified that the existing channel drain and original construction were insufficient for proper water management. To correct the problem, the team designed a customized drainage repair solution focused on improving surface drainage and runoff control. The plan included installing a new, high-capacity channel drain system connected to a strategically placed catch basin located farther out on the property, allowing for efficient water collection and redirection away from the pool deck. With the upgraded drainage system in place, excess water now flows properly through the system and disperses safely into the yard. The result is a clean, dry, and slip-resistant pool area—leaving Megan confident in both the safety and long-term performance of her drainage solution.
The concrete pad supporting Mark's AC unit at his Merritt Island, Florida, home had slowly sunk into the ground over time, creating a significant trip hazard. He requested LRE Foundation Repair to inspect the concrete, and a Design Specialist identified that soil washout had caused the pad to sink. To lift and level the concrete, as well as stabilize the soil below, the LRE team injected the PolyLevel Solution under the pad. The concrete pad was successfully lifted and leveled, and Mark was delighted to see the trip hazard permanently eliminated.
