Mark from Winter Park, FL, developed a severe tripping hazard in his concrete walkway after one of the slabs settled significantly, creating an uneven surface. Looking for a reliable repair solution, he contacted LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. Our Customer Care team quickly scheduled a free inspection with one of our local Design Specialists to evaluate the issue.
During the inspection, it was determined that soil erosion beneath the walkway had caused the slab to sink over time. To fully restore the concrete, our Design Specialist recommended LRE's Two-Part Concrete Protection System.
With Mark's approval, our team first injected PolyLevel beneath the walkway to lift, level, and stabilize the settled slab. Next, the control joint was sealed with NexusPro to help prevent water intrusion and reduce the risk of future soil erosion.
With the repair complete, the tripping hazard has been eliminated, and Mark's concrete walkway is now fully leveled and stabilized, providing a safer surface and lasting peace of mind.
