Kristi from Tampa, Florida, sought an effective drainage solution to divert water away from her back patio after experiencing heavy flooding in the area. She asked LRE Foundation Repair for assistance and we sent one of our expert Design Specialists out to her home to help create a plan for a new drainage system. After carefully surveying the back patio behind Kristi’s home, our specialist recommended installing a new, robust channel drain within the patio’s concrete. The water collected by the channel drain would then be diverted out to a relief drain away from the home through an underground drainage pipe. With Kristi's approval, our team carefully removed the necessary section of concrete, installed the new channel drain, and poured fresh concrete around it, ensuring a smooth and even surface. Now, Kristi's back patio has an effective drainage solution in place to prevent flooding, ensuring the protection of both her concrete and the foundation of her home.
After dealing with constant flooding on her back patio, Kelly in Tampa, Florida, contacted LRE Foundation Repair for assistance in finding a solution. Following a thorough home inspection by one of our Design Specialists, a comprehensive drainage solution was developed to address Kelly’s flooding issues. This plan included the installation of a channel drain for the patio to collect and divert excess rainwater out to a perimeter relief drain. Our team carefully removed the necessary amount of concrete from the patio and installed the channel drain along the entranceway to the home, effectively preventing water from pooling in this area. Upon completion, Kelly was relieved that her patio's flooding issues were resolved, ensuring her foundation is now protected against water damage.
Chris’s pool deck at his Tampa, Florida, home experienced significant flooding during heavy rain, creating hazardous conditions for both his backyard and his house's foundation. Seeking a solution, he contacted LRE Foundation Repair to inspect the problem and design an effective drainage system. One of our expert Design Specialists visited Chris’s home and developed a tailored plan to install an EZ Flow French drain system around the pool deck’s perimeter. This system collects and diverts rainwater away from the area to a relief drain located away from the property. To provide additional support during heavy rainfall, a Liberty Sump Pump system would be installed to work alongside the French drain, helping to move water away from the pool deck at an accelerated rate. After reviewing and finalizing the plan with Chris, our team promptly installed the new drainage system. Chris’s pool deck is now equipped with an effective system to handle flooding during Florida’s torrential rainstorms.
Kim's Dover, Florida home would flood every time it rained, and water would leak into the enclosed patio. She tried everything she could to fix the problem, and eventually called LRE Foundation Repair for professional help. LRE completed an inspection of the property and determined poor drainage and overflowing downspouts were failing to properly divert water away from the foundation. This homeowner needed a new drainage solution that consisted of newly buried downspouts, French drains, and an EZ Flow system, all of which would prevent water from flooding around her foundation. LRE completed the project, leaving the site better than how they found it. Kim was pleased with her new drainage system and relieved that her home's flooding issues were finally resolved.
