Concrete Repair Photo Album: Concrete Dock Slab Leveling & Repair in Canal Point, FL
In Canal Point, FL, Krista was dealing with significant concrete damage on a dock at her farm. Over time, several concrete slabs had settled and developed large cracks, leaving the surface uneven and creating serious tripping hazards. Concerned about the safety of the area and its impact on daily farm operations, Krista contacted LRE Foundation Repair for help.
Our Customer Care team scheduled a free inspection with one of our local expert Design Specialists, who visited Krista's property to assess the damaged concrete. During the inspection, our specialist determined that soil settlement beneath the dock had caused the slabs to sink and crack. To address these issues, our specialist recommended LRE's Two-Part Concrete Protection System, which combines PolyLevel concrete lifting and stabilization with NexusPro crack and joint sealing.
After Krista approved the recommended repairs, our crew got to work. First, they injected PolyLevel directly beneath the settled concrete slabs. As the foam expanded, it filled voids beneath the surface, helped stabilize the underlying soil, and carefully lifted the sunken sections back into alignment with the surrounding concrete.
Once the slabs were leveled and stabilized, our team applied NexusPro to seal the existing cracks and control joints. This helped protect against water intrusion that could contribute to further soil erosion and settlement while giving the concrete a cleaner, more finished appearance.
With the repairs complete, Krista's concrete dock was restored to a smoother, more even surface, eliminating the existing tripping hazards and providing a safer area for daily farm operations without the need for a complete concrete replacement.
Concrete Settlement Damage
Soil settlement beneath the concrete dock had caused the slabs to settle and crack.
Concrete Tripping Hazards
Over time, the concrete slabs had shifted and become uneven, causing large cracks to develop across the surface and creating significant tripping hazards.
Leveling Uneven Concrete with PolyLevel
The LRE team injects PolyLevel through small holes drilled into the concrete, allowing the expanding foam to fill voids beneath the slabs, help stabilize the underlying soil, and carefully lift the concrete back to an even level.
Repairing Concrete Cracks
After the concrete has been fully leveled and stabilized, the LRE team proceeds to repair and seal the cracks along the surface with NexusPro.
Complete Concrete Repair
Following the complete implementation of the Two-Part Concrete Protection System by the LRE team, the farm's concrete dock is now fully repaired, leveled, and stabilized.
