A major tripping hazard had formed in Mary’s concrete driveway at her home in Palm Bay, FL, as the slabs had settled, creating an uneven surface. After reaching out to us at LRE Foundation Repair for assistance, we sent our expert Design Specialist to her home to conduct a complimentary inspection. Upon assessing the tripping hazard, our specialist determined that soil settlement beneath the driveway had been the root cause of the issue. Our team stepped in and utilized our Two-Part Concrete Protection System to fully level the slab and stabilize the concrete. First, PolyLevel was injected directly beneath the concrete to fill any voids and to carefully lift, level, and stabilize the settling slab. Next, the cracks were sealed with NexusPro to prevent water intrusion and to enhance curb appeal. Now, Mary no longer has to worry about tripping injuries in her driveway, and the concrete is now permanently leveled and stabilized.
Mike, from Melbourne Beach, Florida, asked LRE Foundation Repair for help repairing the concrete pad supporting his home's AC unit. A significant crack had emerged along the center of the concrete, and the pad was visibly detaching from the exterior wall of the home. Following a thorough inspection, it was discovered that a substantial amount of soil beneath the concrete had been washed away, resulting in the settling of the pad into the ground. The LRE team implemented the Two-Part Concrete Protection System, which involved utilizing PolyLevel for lifting and stabilizing the concrete and NexusPro to seal the crack, preventing water intrusion underneath the pad. Mike’s concrete is now repaired and stabilized, and he can feel assured that the pad is safeguarded against future settlement problems.
Ron from Vero Beach, FL, needed to have his concrete driveway repaired after settlement caused the slabs to sink and become uneven, creating significant tripping hazards. After contacting LRE Foundation Repair, we scheduled a complimentary inspection with one of our expert Design Specialists to assess the issue and recommend a solution.
Upon evaluating the driveway, our specialist confirmed that soil settlement beneath the concrete was the cause and developed a plan to restore it using our Two-Part Concrete Protection System. First, we injected PolyLevel beneath the slabs to carefully lift, level, and stabilize the surface. Once the tripping hazards were eliminated, our team sealed the cracks and joints with NexusPro to help prevent water intrusion and enhance the driveway’s appearance.
Now, Ron’s driveway has been fully repaired and restored to a safe, level surface, backed by long-lasting protection.
Jeff had LRE Foundation Repair come out to his Vero Beach, FL, home to inspect his concrete front porch when he noticed portions of it had begun to settle. The settlement was significant enough to cause the columns sitting on top of the porch to separate from the roof. Utilizing our PolyLevel Solution, the LRE team leveled the concrete porch and successfully closed the gaps between the columns and the roof. Jeff's front porch is now securely leveled and permanently stabilized, guarding against future settling.
Cheryl and William G. were preparing to list their Port Saint Lucie, FL, home on the market, but wanted to address the sinking driveway before doing so. After scheduling a free inspection with one of our design specialists, soil washout and erosion were identified as being the culprits of the settling concrete. As washout and erosion occur, it leaves the remaining soil unstable enough to hold the weight of the concrete, causing it to sink. Our design specialist recommended our PolyLevel system to lift and re-level this driveway. PolyLevel is a fast-expanding polyurethane foam that works to solidify loose soils and fill voids, while simultaneously lifting concrete back level. Our team was pleased to be able to provide a fast and non-invasive solution to Cheryl and Williams's driveway concerns, so they can get their home on the market.
