Eugene and Pam W. had owned their home in Englewood, Florida for many years and wanted to start renovations. They knew they needed to address the home's sinking concrete slabs before they could begin, so they decided to call LRE Foundation Repair for help. LRE inspected the home inside and out, and designed a plan that would fix the sunken concrete due to shifting, loose soil conditions. LRE used PolyLevel, an injectable and expanding polymer foam material that flows into the voids between loose soils particles, expanding to about 15 times its initial volume. This product was able to lift the concrete slab areas around the home, closing gaps and cracks. Once complete, these homeowners were pleasantly surprised at the results and excited to get to work on renovations.
When Richard moved into his home in Palm Coast, Florida, he noticed a small crack in the concrete driveway but didn’t think much of it at the time. Over the years, however, that crack grew larger, and the concrete slabs began to settle and shift, eventually creating a serious tripping hazard. Richard then reached out to us at LRE Foundation Repair in search of a reliable repair solution.
Our Customer Care team quickly scheduled a free inspection, and one of our expert Design Specialists came out to assess the damage. During the inspection, we discovered that soil erosion beneath the driveway had created a void, causing the concrete to sink and crack. To address the issue, we recommended our Two-Part Concrete Protection System.
Richard approved the plan, and our team got to work. First, PolyLevel was injected directly beneath the driveway to fill the void and carefully lift, level, and stabilize the slabs. Then, we sealed the crack with NexusPro to prevent water from seeping under the concrete and causing further erosion.
With the system fully implemented, Richard’s driveway is now level, safe, and permanently stabilized, eliminating the tripping hazard and restoring peace of mind.
A section of Jacqueline's concrete walkway leading up to the front door of her home in Palm Coast, Florida, had gradually settled into the ground over time, resulting in a trip hazard between the slab and the porch. After scheduling a free inspection with LRE Foundation Repair, a Design Specialist visited her home to assess the concrete. Upon verifying that soil settlement had caused the concrete walkway to sink, the specialist informed Jacqueline that the concrete could be lifted and leveled back into its original position using PolyLevel. The LRE team injected the PolyLevel solution directly underneath the concrete slab, and within minutes, the walkway was successfully lifted back into its proper place. With the trip hazard now permanently removed, Jacqueline can finally feel relieved from the concern of potential injuries.
Facing a notable trip hazard in the concrete walkway leading to his North Port, Florida home, Robert knew he needed to address the issue before someone could get hurt. After learning about the concrete repair services offered by LRE Foundation Repair, he scheduled a free inspection with an expert Design Specialist. Following a thorough assessment of the walkway, the specialist discovered that soil had washed out from underneath the concrete, causing the slabs to sink and become uneven. To lift and level the slabs, the LRE team injected PolyLevel underneath the concrete. The walkway has been successfully restored to an even and safe level, alleviating Robert's concerns about potential injuries.
