Flood Area
The homeowner noticed water routinely pooling on one side of their property during heavy rainstorms, evident by the deterioration of the grass in the yard.

Excavating Drainage Pipe Trench
To start the installation of the exterior drainage system, the LRE team excavates a trench to accommodate the drainage pipe and French drain system.

Drainage Pipe Installation
The LRE team places the drainage pipe, which will direct rainwater away from the home, into the excavated trench.

Relief Drain
A pop-up relief drain is installed at the end of the drainage pipe where water will be discharged away from the home.

Complete French Drain Installation
The French drain system, along with numerous catch basins, is successfully installed in the homeowner's yard to collect and divert flooding rainwater.

Buried Downspout
The downspouts extending from the home's gutter system are connected directly to the subsurface drainage pipe to prevent water from discharging around the home's foundation.

Concealing Drainage System
After the LRE team has successfully installed the new exterior drainage system, they carefully replace the previously removed sod to provide the home's yard with a seamless appearance.
