Photo Album: Solution for Driveway Flooding in Apollo Beach, FL

David C. of Apollo Beach, FL, contacted LRE Foundation Repair because he was concerned about water collecting at the base of the driveway to his waterfront home. Given the frequency of Florida rainstorms, this turned out to be an annual issue. An LRE Design Specialist came out to assess the situation and designed a custom solution to help drain the excess rainwater from David’s driveway. As the home sits right in front of a canal, a plan was put in place to install a drainage solution to route the excess water out into the gulf. The LRE team installed an exterior drainage system that included a catch basin positioned at the driveway's base to gather the excess water. When there is enough water collected, it is then channeled through an underground piping system to the seawall behind the house. David is pleased that he no longer has to worry about extra water pooling in his driveway and causing damage to his concrete and yard.
