Photo Album: Foundation Repair & New Exterior Drainage System in Chuluota, FL

In Chuluota, FL, John noticed cracks developing in the walls of one corner of his home due to soil settlement beneath the foundation and called LRE Foundation Repair for assistance. Following a comprehensive inspection by one of our local Design Specialists, it was determined that inadequate drainage along that side of the home was contributing to soil erosion beneath the foundation. To address both issues, we recommended stabilizing the foundation with our helical pier system while also installing an enhanced exterior drainage system to help prevent rainwater from pooling around the home. After John approved the repair plan, our team got to work installing helical piers deep into the ground, transferring the weight of the home to stable, load-bearing soil layers for permanent stabilization. We then connected the home's downspouts to an underground drainage pipe, allowing rainwater to be directed safely away from the property through a relief drain. With the helical piers and new drainage system in place, John's home is now permanently stabilized and better protected against future water intrusion and soil erosion.
