Drainage Solutions Photo Album: New Yard Drainage System in Zephyrhills, Florida

Barbara, of Zephyrhills, Florida, had long struggled with rainwater collecting along the left side of her home due to the way both her yard and her neighbor’s sloped toward her property. The issue was further aggravated by water routinely seeping into her garage. Seeking an effective drainage solution to redirect water away from her home, Barbara contacted LRE Foundation Repair for help. We sent one of our expert Design Specialists to Barbara’s home to conduct a free inspection and develop a customized plan. After evaluating the problem areas, our specialist recommended installing a French drain system along the left side of the home to capture and channel rainwater out to a relief drain positioned away from the property. Several catch basins would also be installed along the drainage path to prevent future pooling in the yard. Once Barbara approved the plan, our team began the installation. We carefully excavated a trench to place the French drain, catch basins, and underground drainage piping. After the system was set, the drain and piping were covered with gravel and topped with the original sod, ensuring a clean, seamless appearance in the yard. With her new exterior drainage system fully installed, Barbara can now feel confident that her home is protected from recurring flooding, giving her lasting peace of mind.
