Upon inspection, our specialist found that the slope of the yard and the home’s downspouts were directing rainwater toward the foundation, contributing to the flooding. We developed a comprehensive plan to install a new exterior drainage system. This included a French drain along the affected side of the home to collect and redirect water to an exterior relief drain via an underground pipe. Additionally, the downspouts were connected directly to the underground system to prevent water from discharging near the foundation.
