After experiencing persistent flooding around the side and back of his home in Winter Garden, Florida, Jose reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for help designing an effective exterior drainage solution. Our expert Design Specialist visited Jose’s home, conducted a thorough inspection, and developed a customized plan to install an exterior drainage system. The plan included connecting the home’s downspouts to a subsurface drainage pipe, directing rainwater to a relief drain, and safely away from the property.
With Jose’s approval, our team installed the underground drainage system and carefully concealed it beneath the yard for a clean, seamless look. Now, Jose’s home is protected from pooling water, reducing the risk of flooding and water damage around the foundation.
Drainage Pipe Installation
The LRE team excavates a trench to install the underground drainage pipe, designed to redirect rainwater away from the home.
Buried Downspouts
The home's downspouts are connected directly to the underground drainage pipe to prevent water from discharging near the foundation.
Installation Catch Basin
A catch basin is installed along the drainage pipe to collect excess rainwater and debris during heavy rainfall, preventing pooling in the yard.
Pop-up Relief Drains
Pop-up relief drains are installed at the end of the drainage system to safely discharge water away from the home.
Concealing Drainage System
After completing the installation of the exterior drainage system, the LRE team carefully conceals the drainage pipe by replacing the sections of the yard that were previously excavated.
