The upgraded system included connecting the home’s downspouts directly to a subsurface drainage pipe network that redirects rainwater from the gutter system to relief drains located away from the foundation. This helps prevent water from discharging around the home and causing potential moisture-related damage. In addition, several catch basins were installed along the drainage line to collect excess water that may accumulate in the yard.
