Drainage Solutions Photo Album: New Enhanced Pool Deck Channel Drain System in Lakeland, FL
Patti in Lakeland, FL, was experiencing recurring flooding on her pool deck after heavy rainfall and reached out to LRE Foundation Repair for a better drainage solution. After a free inspection, our Design Specialist determined that the existing channel drain was damaged and no longer effective.
We designed a plan to replace it with an upgraded 5" channel drain and redirect water away from the pool deck through an underground drainage pipe to a pop-up relief drain safely away from the home. Once approved, our team removed the old drain, installed the new system, and concealed the piping for a seamless appearance. With this enhanced drainage system in place, Patti’s pool deck now stays dry—even after heavy rainfall.
Channel Drain Installation
The LRE team carefully removes the old channel drain and sections of concrete in the pool deck in order to position the new, enhanced channel drain.
Drainage Pipe and Relief Drain Installation
The underground drainage pipe and relief drain are installed in an excavated trench in the yard to safely discharge rainwater collected from the pool deck.
Complete Channel Drain Installation
The new channel drain has been fully installed in the pool deck to effectively drain flooding rainwater.
Concealing Drainage Pipe
To complete the installation of the new drainage system, the LRE team replaces the previously removed sod to conceal the drainage pipe and provide a seamless appearance for the homeowner.
